   Lovely course, superb in summer but still very good in winter months. Greens are excellent. Staff are very welcoming and they care. One of our group left a personal item behind on our latest visit; the club phoned to let us know just after we left so we were able to turn around pick it up. Fair play to them! We will keep returning.

   Played today as pin high gold society. Lovely welcome from the ladies cleaning up from the night before fabulous breakfast served with a smile and a joke oh and the golf course was spot on aswell good look for the rest of the year we will be back.

   A very interesting golf course. The first big positive of the course were the greens. Very fast, undulating and real challenge. Negatives for me, was the course is generally too undulating and quirky and coupled with the course being very dry I found it too challenging for me (a mid handicapper). The par threes are generally very fair - although one of them I couldn't see the green due to an extreme downward orientation of the green which is not ideal. There are some very fair par 4s (for example the 18th hole), but too often on the harder holes I found good shots being punished by harsh fairway cambers. The first three holes really are a baptism of fire and were too good for me (mid handicapper and first time playing the course). In summary, the course and greens were superbly maintained, but for my level I found it too hard - would be useful to play it a few times more maybe so I know were to put my tee shots. The members there must be really good players :-)
