Terrible attitude towards customers, failure to adhere to the schedule is the norm, but then they can travel in pairs, they can easily not stop at the official stop and when the bus is half empty.
Very often don’t stick to the listed schedule, often breakdowns, app is useless, some bus drivers’ driving and manners are appalling. Bus listed for 18:27 and 18:57, it shows up at 18:44 - make it make sense. Just a shambles, another monopoly in Aberdeen that only breeds incompetence and poor service while pushing the prices up.
Dropped my wallet on a First bus 3 days ago filled with cards and cash, it held a lot of sentimental value but a kind hearted passenger handed it in and was kept safely by this Depo. As per policy they shredded all my bank debits and credits for safety but other than that, not a single thing was missing. Thank you very much to those involved god bless you.
Apparently their bus drivers have 0 clue what their routes are as I’ve just got on the 13, I normally get the 23, so asked if it goes up near lang stracht … “no”. Okay, I get off, check the app just to see that it absolutely does go to lang stracht so get back on the bus, show this bus driver the app and she does the biggest dramatic sigh I’ve ever seen in my life as though I’m not asking her about her own route that she’s got incorrectly, and still denies that it goes up near lang stracht. Just says it’s the 23 it doesn’t go near Tesco… not what I asked. This woman looked to be in her 50s, glasses and short brown hair. Stinking attitude. I’m literally disabled and have now had to wait ages for another bus as your inconpetant bus driver has 0 clue what she’s doing.
My daughter left her school jacket on the bus. They replied to my email promptly and I picked it up from the depot from a really lovely lady. (Good Idea to put your kids names on clothes they might leave lying on the bus)
Waited for the X27 towards the airport at Skene place, Dyce. Never showed up at the stop, zero information on the website. Took a cab instead.
The taxi company's are so lucky to have such a poor bus company to keep them busy. Buses just come as they please always early or late. Even if you are at the bus stop 5 minutes before the due time the bus will be 6 minutes early so you've missed it or it will be late and you will be out in the cold. There have been times where I have waited over an hour for a bus service that was meant to be every 10 minutes meaning 5 busses did not show up at all and then there were 3 all at the same time. Joke even there own app can't keep up with the bus times as it is always wrong !
Absolutely the worst service you could possibly imagine. NEVER on time. But it's not even like 2/3 late or early. Bus number 1 for example meant to be on my bus stop at 18.59 or next one at 19.19. Driver decided to came to bus stop at 19.09 totally in middle. So timetables are basically useless. Most of drivers look like they angry because they have to work. Hmm maybe that's why they picking their own bus schedules. Really wish Aberdeen has some other city buses operator. Wouldn't give even one star...
Almost always late, and very very expensive. Some drivers are nice but a lot are moody and unfriendly. For some reason the Edinburgh service which is run by the first is not only much cheaper but is just a better overall service. They don't give you change while most of their bus fares requires you to have small change (£1.10, £2.20..etc). Unreliable and Overpriced
