   We recently did a move from Aberdeenshire to Moray. It was a stress free experience. Davy and his crew did a great job. They went above and beyond to move large heavy awkward furniture. They were friendly and had good humour. They worked fast, hard and efficiently. We also want to praise the reception/admin staff as any time we had to phone in before the move they too were also efficient and friendly. Coincidentally SP were the company used by our international shipper KENT when we moved back to the UK. They also were just as good then. Thanks to SP.

   We used Shore Porters to move from Scotland to Canada. The whole process was easy from start to finish. The team turned up on time & carefully packed all of our belongings. Doreen was fantastic and guided us through every step including Canada customs forms, etc. All of our stuff arrived in Canada very well packed. We would highly recommend Shore Porters .

   Only giving them 1 start because i cant give zero. Moved my leather sofas & turned up with no proper bags to protect them. Ended up wrapping them in plastic only after i refused them to move them without something. Well they damaged every corner & backs. Be very aware if your thinking of using this lot take lots of pictures of your things before they move it!

All required export and import formalities were managed competently by the friendly, helpful Aberdeen contact, saving us all involvement; for us it was effortless.    We initially had a team of 4 guys but they quickly realised the job would be quicker and more efficient with two extra to tackle the back. They did a fantastic job of loading and unloading in spite of the parking issues on the loading side. Would definitely recommend them for their professionalism and hard work and we Will be using them again!

   I needed to shift some large pieces of furniture won at auction, from Cheshire to Scotland: Shore Porters are among the few firms offering a long distance part-load service. I was very pleased with the service they provided. Craig in the office was very helpful and provided a competitive quote based on a description of the furniture, then timely updates on pick-up and drop-off arrangements, and his colleagues who made the delivery were courteous and efficient despite horrible weather conditions. Highly recommended.

   The Shore Porters team packed and collected our possessions from our home in Oxfordshire, stored them in Aberdeen and then delivered them out to our cottage in Aberdeenshire. We were very impressed with the professionalism and hard work demonstrated by all of the staff who were also very polite and thoughtful. When not sure about something they asked for our guidance and were very thorough in everything they did. We would have no hesitation in recommending Shore Porters for any move which you may wish to make. They are undoubtedly leaders in their field.

   AVOID: Failure to deliver & no answers provided After paying £5,457 for removal of a large table and chairs from Angus on 30th Sept 2022, with delivery to the Isle of Wight notified for 10th October, nothing arrived on that day and as at 19th, SPS are unable to provide a new date despite repeated requests. When challenged about a poor service the response was an arrogant "its a consignment order so it is what it is". This quote was twice that of others, but I selected it based upon the view that SPS was a quality operation that would deliver. Sadly, I was very wrong. I recommend prospective customers look elsewhere when moving items.

   This a very good place for long term storage. Clean, dry and secure. Weekly rates are good. £16 per week for a 5x8x8 foot sealed crate. Access is by appointment and the charge for this is not so good. £80 a time, even if you just have a few things to move. The same charge for initial entry and final clearance. Make sure you fill the crate first time.

   I used them for an international move. For professional movers I give them an F, breakable, irreplaceable items arrived smashed and unless you individually itemize your items don't expect to get any insurance compensation. They also lost 2 boxes and made no effort to try and locate them. It seems people don't want to do their job anymore. Once they were paid they no longer replied to e-mail, yes you know who you are. Shame on you. Totally unrecommended!!
