Genuinely disappointed and actually quite disgusted with this service. My mum passed away unexpectedly shortly after I gave birth, I was told by my doctors in Sept 2024 to do a self referral, which I did. Went through the assessment process and was told I would be referred elsewhere. I never heard back and throughout the last year, my mental health has been very up and down but declined a fair bit from the first assessment. Again I spoke with my doctor who, again, told me to self refer, which I did. Again I went through the assessment and was told id hear back the following Tuesday. I heard nothing so on Tuesday at around 4pm I called to find out there was no appointment on the system and a message would be sent to get them to reschedule. This was around 2 weeks ago and to this day I have not heard back. This is people's mental health and potentially lives you are playing with! Its horrendous. It Genuinely doesnt surprise me that the suicide rate is so high in this country, with a support system like this.

I can not praise Talking Therapies enough. Yes it's a bit of a wait to get on the lists but they quickly assertain what you need and different options are available. My therapist is lovely and I look forward to my sessions albeit I'm incredibly nervous

Not very helpful. Left me feeling even worse after the call, as provided literally no help. Promised to email some materials, never got these. Refused to provide any other other help. It seems that this service doesn't work on prevention, it only patches up when things get unmanageable. The self referral survey is nonsense , you need to answer most of the questions as: "most of the time" or "always" cause "several" in their case means same as couple. Don't waste your breath. I would not recommend it.

They discharged me from their service with a very kindly letter from Samuel. Listened to my situation & decided I didn't need their service

Dangerous. The staff and structure of the entire place is an absolute joke. No care towards the quality of service. Extremely poor communication skills never replying to you, and missing emails or ever contacting you. Very poor care, basically suited to their fastest "results." No care towards the results. There is zero care towards the quality of their own work, and how they've made any patient better. Seriously, if you are having very poor mental health problems, don't use Bedfordshire Wellbeing service, they're simply dangerous, and will only make your problems worse. I had to wait nearly 3 years to see these lot. They ask you re-refer yourself to cut down their own waiting times every year. My first appointment came within a week of learning of my friends, mate death from suicide. They have ignored all emails from me and my GP for over 2 months now.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for the service you provide. I was picked up by my GP and referred when I was in a dark, desperate and chaotic place. The nurse who assessed me and rang me every week to see if I was Ok, My therapist Yanis and anyone in between who has assessed or spoken to me, you have all been so understanding and supportive. My therapy session with Yanis have been insightful, helpful, eye opening and nothing short of amazing. He listens and processes, knows just what to say and the questions to ask, He has helped me to become much stronger, clearer, more resilient and to know and trust myself a lot more. I actually even like myself now, which was something I never thought I would say. Simply in awe of the work you do and Yanis - one of the best! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The mental health crisis team at Florence Ball house were spectacular. They couldn’t do enough to help. When I was discharged from their care, I was passed to the well-being team. I wouldn’t waste your time. Go private if you can. I had a telephone appointment which went fine but the lady I spoke to gave me a time on a date in December, then rang on a random date in November, which I was not expecting, nor was I able to take. After trying to rearrange and unsuccessfully trying to contact them, I was sent an email saying I was being discharged. I was previously told that if I missed 2 appointments, this would happen, but I only missed one through no fault of my own. Disgusted and let down by the service.

Not impressed with this 'service', quite useless actually! You phone in to refer yourself, then you are scheduled in for a phone interview weeks later, after that phone interview, you are told to attend a group which is months later and only during office hours, not good if you are working! The only alternative to that is you are placed on and even longer waiting list (mine was about 7-8 months) to go on this online thing which is useless and you can just Google all of that information in a much shorter time! They do not offer someone to talk to when you need it most, you are just passed around and shoved on waiting lists and when you eventually reach the top of the waiting list, the 'service' you have been waiting so long for is useless! This whole experience is enough to make anybody's mental health deteriorate.
