I didn’t have a good experience with this firm. I went to them for my first year of accounts, only to end up receiving a fine from HMRC, even though I was under the impression everything had been handled. They pushed me to use Xero for bookkeeping, which didn’t suit my business at all. I’ve since moved over to Sage, which fits my work far better as a hands-on contractor. This year, I’ve taken control of everything myself using Sage, and I’m now paying less corporation tax than I did last year, without their help. Not only did I not receive good service, but I also felt like I was just another number on their books. I’ve since realised they didn’t save me money or time, in fact, they cost me both. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for small trade businesses who want clarity and proper support.
