There delivery driver hit my van mirror. damaged and broken the mirror. The man actually drove off. I had to chase just to get his details. so called bosses called them 3 times today to pay for damages nothing. avoid at all costs.
Had a wedding dress cleaned cost £100 which was a reasonable price. The service was good and the staff polite and helpful.
Came here unfortunately as this is closest to my friends home and I came to derby for the weekend and this dry cleaners ruined my dress for my friends Hen Party and I spent £250 on that dress and this dry cleaners Returned it back to me all ripped and a massive hole in the middle of the dress and tried to blame me that it was like that when I brought it in and she refused to help me and told me to get out and I am 1000% shes working full time and claiming to be a student while on a student visa and I will not let this horrid illegal get away with this and the home office will be notified about this dry cleaners also and that will prove also she dont attend university and that will invalidate her student visa You messed with the wrong person so sit tight and wait Guys do the right thing and walk Past
This review is for the Alvaston branch of Bright Dry Cleaners. I took my long winter coat, which cost nearly £100, to be dry cleaned. A few days later, I picked it up and, upon trying it on at home, realised it had shrunk by about 2 inches all over, with the lining hanging down awkwardly. I returned to the shop to complain. The manager, Nav, assured me he’d get the lining altered to fit and would refund the cleaning cost of around £25. He promised to call me when it was done. However, a week passed without any updates, so I called him. He apologized, claiming he was ill and hadn’t been able to call me back, but said he would check on the coat and follow up. Days later, still no call. I decided to visit the shop again and found a woman steaming my coat. After waiting about 15 minutes, I tried it on, only to see no improvement. The arms were still an issue, the lining still hung unevenly, and the overall length was a mess. It was clear that whoever had worked on the coat had no proper expertise, leaving it puckered and poorly altered. Nav wasn’t there, so I called him from the shop. He claimed his car had just broken down and couldn’t talk at length, but assured me he’d resolve the issue soon. I left the coat there once again. After more than a week without hearing anything, I returned to find my coat hanging on a rail. It was obvious nothing had been done. Trying it on confirmed this. Frustrated, I complained again, and the assistant in the shop called Nav, handing me the phone. Nav said there was nothing more he could do. When I brought up compensation, he claimed to have spent £53 on altering the lining and suggested that, had I mentioned compensation earlier, he wouldn’t have bothered with the alterations. Regarding the promised cleaning refund, he claimed he didn’t have enough money in the till—this was during a busy afternoon. He took my bank details, promising to transfer the refund, but weeks later, I’ve received nothing. Repeated calls went unanswered. The entire experience has been disgraceful. My coat is now completely ruined due to their incompetence, and their failure to provide proper service or resolution is appalling. If you have anything of value, avoid this dry cleaner at all costs—they’ll destroy it! I absolutely do not recommend them!
Extremely expensive, £16-£18 for a medium bag with clothes. Ridiculous!
Very rude owner , this shop is a joke. burnt my dress when they ironed it. when i confronted the staff the owner says " this is your thinking" Really? please do not use this business you will regret it. Just walk away
Definition of a launderette is a coin operated machine for public use....this is not a launderette. Service washes are welcome at £15. The picture of the silver machines in the advert was not here, I include a photo of the machines of which I was told only one small machine was available and working. I completed my wash and dried my clothes.
I ordered a 3 piece suit for a wedding. It arrived with a 1000 creases in it and no cleaning instructions. The staff at Bright were all absolutely lovely and very helpful. They were professional but also had a sense of humour. They steamed the suit, which was unwearable, and made it like new by 12 noon the next day, all for £12. They were AMAZING! Thank you sooooo much!
Excellent service. I had 5 big sofa cushion covers. They were filthy as I have twin boys. They went above and beyond my expectations.... never did I expect to see such good result. Super value for money. I won't use any other company now. They should be very proud of the business they offer to the public. Thanks guys
