Recently had my windscreen replaced by national windscreens (Southampton) Just want to say a big Thankyou to Antony the technician who was clearly very experienced and did an excellent job replacing my windscreen to a professional standard. The customer service guy I spoke to on the phone was also extremely helpful in sorting out an appointment that suited my schedule, would highly recommend. Thankyou

I'm very pleased with my experience at NW Southampton. I live in Lincolnshire and unfortunately on the way to Southampton a stone hit the windscreen and cracked it. I rang my insurance company and was immediately put in touch with NW. I was given an appointment to attend the branch at City Ind est Southampton in two days as the screen had to be ordered. Due to the car having the ADAS system it had to be calibrated hence having to take it to the branch to be fitted. They are in the process of moving units so expect a little untidyness, at time of writing, but the staff were very friendly and did a great job on my windscreen. Well done National Windscreens.

New windscreen fitted via insurance claim was done to standard as expected. However, I dropped car off at 12pm as requested and was told it would be ready at 5pm. When I turned up at 5 they hadn't even started it yet and was told it would be another hour, no apology, no reason given, just the assumption I would be okay to wait. I was given an automated number to call to settle to bill but have called 3 times and it rings off after 4m40s. If they want payment they'll have to chase me now. An all round poor customer experience.

Atrocious service I explained being self employed I’d like to be a first visit in order that I can provide for my family. Happy to book in a date where this is viable as waiting in all day 9 till 4 is not viable On the day they say I’m actually third in line and nothing can be done about it. I cancel and rebook asking them to ensure I am the first call Today the technician turned up on the drive 09.40 was here two minutes explaining he would not be able to do the job in light rain as he had turned up with a broken awning on the side of the van.. Absolutely useless and a further loss of income for me I phoned to speak with the manager who couldn’t care less explaining there was nothing he could do about the weather I explained the vans had awnings for a reason so why would you send a van out that’s clearly faulty. The fella couldn’t care less and my ability to also work to support my family was of no concern Totally unprofessional and a complete waste of time AVOID

Tried about 5 times to get window fixed, they had to change it first time because the crack was a window replacement. Fair enough. Had to cancel second time as they didn’t come in the time frame and were late. Third time they had to cancel as the glass wasn’t delivered and said needed it done asap and said can get it done 3 days ahead in store. They cancelled that 3 hours before as the glass wasn’t delivered. Then Fianllt fixed it later. Understand it’s not a them issue with the glass not being delivered, the guy speaking was lovely and helpful, but took over a month for it to happen and was tedious. Lovely and efficient when they did fix it just a shame for the having to cancel every time.

Could not get the windscreen for a pretty standard car. Cancelled installation twice in a 2 week period. Had to pay for own installation in the end with another company that could provide and install within 2 days as needed the car and wasn't drivable with the crack. Unfortunately our insurance was exclusive for National Windscreens so couldn't claim the money back.
