As mentioned in other places, this store shuts from 13-14.00. So, if you're on your lunch break between these times, you're in Belper and you need something from Boots, forget it! They've obviously never heard of staggered breaks.
I am 85 years old. I have just been into Belper branch and I cannot thank them enough for the excellent service I received from an assistant called Nicole. She was so patient and helpful. I only wanted a small thing which made the service even more great. Thank you so much Mrs Janet Ostle
I visited the pharmacy department today to collect a prescription for my daughter. The lady was extremely helpful and after a very traumatic day for her was still super professional. 5 star and an excellent service. ❤️
I’m not very happy with the attitude of the young lady in the pharmacy department, she’s very rude…obviously doesn’t like her job very much as everything seems such a chore for her. She needs to change her ways or free up the job to someone more deserving I’ve no problem with the rest of the staff who are very friendly and pleasant.
Possibly needs to give up with advertising itself as a pharmacy I have been in twice for the same medication that will keep me out of hospital and have twice been refused. The computer says no and they can’t find the prescription. Nobody was interested in trying to solve the problem and help and frankly appeared totally unconcerned and unsympathetic with my plight. They have a notice up that says that unacceptable behaviour towards their staff will not be tolerated . In my experience you don’t have to put up signs like that in a place like Boots, in a lovely town like Belper unless the service your are offering is sub- standard.
A nightmare of a boots. Every time I need to go in for a prescription they never have it ready, the queue is always huge and I wouldn't mind but I see constant poor service, people queuing and when they get there told the prescription won't be ready till tomorrow. They have two members of staff serving one customer and they all go for breaks and dinner at the same time. This store needs a radical shake up or Seb James will be wielding the axe and closing it. Which is a shame as its very handy for retail. It's just the pharmacy that this review is for. More organisation, less chatting between staff members. Especially since they closed the branch of Boots down at Ivy Grove surgery.
The lady and the gent in the pharmacy are absolutely brilliant at their jobs and love dealing with them. Very friendly and helpful. They do close for lunch nowadays but it isn’t an issue
Gone rapidly downhill, probably due to being completely understaffed. They never have medications ready anymore, make various excuses and tell you to come back another day. All this even who your GP has sent through a week or more before. On the last few occasions I've simply asked them to print my prescription and trudged up the hill to Peak Pharmacy, who duly sort it out within 15 minutes. Won't use again.
A very good chemist with helpful staff. However, they really should ADVERTISE that they now close between 1pm and 2 pm for lunch. Lots of folk have had wasted trips lately.
