Friendly Bears have been providing a weekly cleaning service for my elderly Dad for many years and he always looks forward to them coming. They do the job, but always have time for a chat and to help out with extra things if needed. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful, and always turn up on time.
Very disappointing experience. The cleaner arrived late for a 2-hour paid trial and failed to complete even one full room, despite only needing to focus on two areas—something previous cleaners handled with ease. When I expressed my concerns to Alana, she claimed the cleaners are self-employed and she can't control their punctuality or work quality, which was confusing given they represent her business. I agreed to try a replacement as she suggested, but my follow-up messages were ignored. Overall, unprofessional and poorly managed service.
We used Friendly Bears to clean and changeover our Airbnb rental and they were absolutely fantastic. Alana’s organisation and care made handling the random nature of bookings easy and led to all 5* reviews. Thank you Alana and team!

I have been a customer since February 2024. I regret using Friendly Bear Cleaning due to a disappointing experience and poor service from the agent, Alana. The service fee is nearly 40% of the total cost yet the management and communication falls significantly short of expectations. I requested a deep clean on top of the regular schedule, explicitly listing my priorities and offering to pay for additional hours if needed. Despite this, key areas were ignored or rushed, and the upstairs was left in a visibly poor state. One of the cleaners used a dirty rag in the en-suite, leaving a foul odor, and the windows and grout were completely neglected despite being my main priorities. My oven was also damaged during the clean, making it unusable without repair, which has caused additional stress. When I raised my concerns, Alana’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. She deflected responsibility to the cleaners, failed to address the damage to my oven adequately, and attempted to justify poor service by citing her own personal challenges. As a customer, I expect the service fee to cover proper management and clear communication with the team, which was not the case here. While I have no issue with the cleaners themselves, the lack of oversight and Alana's unwillingness to accept responsibility were unacceptable. I cannot recommend Friendly Bear Cleaning and would advise others to avoid this service if they value their time, money, and peace of mind.
We used Friendly Bears for an end of tenancy apartment clean and they were excellent. The flat looked like it was back to brand new and it was a very reasonable price for the service delivered. Alana was very responsive and easy to communicate with at all times. We would 100% use them again for one-off or regular cleans. Thank you!
Alena and Angel cleaned our house for 10years until we moved out of the area. Their cleaning is outstanding. The house was always done to such a high standard and was a pleasure to come home to. They care deeply for their clients and it really shows and as the name implies they are always so friendly! I cannot recommend them highly enough! 5star!
We have been using Friendly Bears for several years, and I really value their skills as house cleaners. We have seen several different personnel, but now seem to have settled to one pair, who have got to know the house very well. We have had builders here for over a year, but all through the pandemic they have willingly coped with the various difficulties. Angel and Alena deserve support for their young business.
