   In 2022 I had a consultation about skin cancer. After the consultant confirming it was Basal cell carcinoma I was told they would cut out the lump. I had no contact from them at all for the next 6mnths and I decided to call them up to enquire if I was close to getting an appointment for the surgery. I was given an appointment straight away. If there were appointments available why didn't they contact me first instead of me contacting them? Fast forward to 2025 and my GP sent an urgent referral to dermatology for suspected cancer again. I was told there was at least a 20 week wait for a consultation and then onto the waiting list for surgery. Guideline on the NHS Grampian website is 62 days from referral to treatment but I've got at least 140 days before I even get a consultation. Absolute disgrace but no surprise as the NHS are still using the COVID nonsense to explain long waiting times.

   Absolutely chuffed to bits with this clinic. After seeing Dr Aziz, I have been given a second chance at life. Free thinking I'd have to retire 10 years early. To knowing that I'll get back to work, has been a massive weight being lifted off my shoulders. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
