Extremely over priced. Ordered a large arrangement, was beautiful but definitely not worth the price. I understand the costs of everything going up, hence me going to a local independent business but felt completely scammed. Unfortunately was going straight to a meal so unable to rectify, but won’t use them again.
I visited this florist recently with my mother after my father’s sudden and unexpected death. The reception from the florist was cool and business-like, with not even a short statement of sympathy. The flowers for the funeral were beautiful; good quality and lovely colours as chosen. However, I do think the approach could be vastly improved with just a few words of condolence being offered prior to the business transaction occurring.
Used this florist in November for anniversary flowers for my grandparents. They were overwhelmed by how beautiful the flowers were. So colourful and fresh. Will definitely be using Scents of Occasions again in the future and will be recommending to family and friends.

Myself, my mum and my sister stopped by here to get flowers for my dad’s funeral. They were welcoming, informed and made the whole process very easy. The flowers arrived on the day and were beautiful, better than we could have expected. Would highly recommend, for any occasion.
Scents of occasion helped me organise my bridal bouquet as well as 2 bouquets for my bridesmaids and a button hole for the groom. This was organised pre-pandemic and they were super understanding when we had to postpone our date (twice!). They turned out so pretty and we were really happy with them. Their aftercare information was helpful to keep them fresh after collecting. For my bridal bouquet I picked hand tied bouquet with blue ribbon, with white avalanche roses, September flower, yellow spray roses with a greenery that I've forgotten but might be eucalyptus. My bridesmaids had similar smaller bouquets.
I have used Scents of Occasion a few times now for Red roses for my wife on our wedding anniversary and every time I have been over the moon with what my wife has come home from work with. The bouquets always look amazing and look a lot more expensive that what they cost me. Also delivery has been exactly when they said it would be. Also my wife was very impressed with how long they last. I highly recommend Scents of Occasion and will continue to use them in future.
After my first and only experience getting my bridal bouquet from here, I would never buy flowers from anywhere else in and around Southampton. Such a lovely bouquet, lovely and helpful girls working there and a great customer experience all around. Couldn't be happier!
