   I was recently contacted by a representative from this company regarding financing that I required. The resulting consultation was highly disappointing and, frankly, baffling. The proposed financing options and the subsequent lines of argument made no financial sense and demonstrated a clear lack of understanding regarding the basic mechanics of financing. The reasoning presented was illogical and wholly unsubstantiated. I am genuinely surprised that a business operating in this sector would exhibit such a severe deficit in financial literacy. I would have expected a far higher standard of competence and expertise, regardless of whether this issue lies with the individual advisor or reflects a wider failing in the company's training. I strongly caution anyone seeking knowledgeable financial guidance.

   After chatting on the phone initially I was somewhat encouraged by the service, but it ended there. As requested I provided guarantor details and sent multiple emails to Matthew with a few questions and to confirm that I had completed the requested information, there came NO reply. Despite numerous attempts the one way communication continued. Very disappointed in the service levels after my initial conversation, I can’t even call it ‘after sales’ because it never even got to that stage.

   Good service throughout. The agent I dealt with explained most things and documents covered the basics. in the end there were a couple of key details missed out until the final stages. 1: Charges required to receive the loan deposit. Documents sent missed out the payments required upfront. This caught me off guard, though 1 of 2 of the requested payments was deferred until I received half the loan amount. So Nationwide Finance where happy to wait. 2: Amount repaid wasn't made clear until the documents were drawn up. 5yr, 10k = 18k paid back. Not much of a problem if you have a solid start up idea! Roughly a week to get funds as new business, they assird in setting up as legitimate company, including a Tide Bank account. Agent and other staff very polite and easy going. I would suggest Government schemes of you are a start up. Lower APR could be an option!
