Five of us visited last night for a 50th birthday meal for our daughter and we can honestly say it was absolutely superb from start to finish. All of the staff were so helpful and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Plenty of choice on the menu and very generous portions, piping hot and so delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return. Thank you everyone for all of your help and kindness it was greatly appreciated.
We came here for the first time this evening and we had a beautiful meal. We thought with it being part of the golf club it might be quite expensive but it was really reasonable. The portions were big and it was all homecooked and well presented. Everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely steak pie and lovely chicken and leek pie, followed by sticky toffee pud and custard. Will definitely be returning.

We decided to give this place a try for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration and we booked a table for ten people on a Saturday night. It was the right decision with all six adults and four children being well pleased with both the main course and desserts and returning ten clean plates from both our courses, so nothing to take home for the dogs. There were three vegetarians among us and they had a good selection to choose from, and the carnivores among us were also presented with a good variety of options. We didn't have starters, so I can't comment on them, but I would imagine it would be similar, judging by what we were served with. The bottom line is excellent food, in a pleasant and roomy space with a good selection of menu options at a reasonable price, all served by attentive staff and plenty of on-site parking. We'll be returning next time we want to dine out locally.
