Amazing nursery, our son loves it here. They’re very much an out doors nursery, lots of outdoor space, which is brilliant. Great staff, all lovely, friendly and great with the children. They provide regular updates and progress reports. Lots of activities for parents to be a part of too. Couldn’t be happier.
Both my kids have been to Mumbles and love their time there. They both settled in well which is a reflection of the caring environment the nursery provides. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and caring. The communication from key workers is excellent and we feel confident that our children are happy and thriving whilst there.
If only mumbles could teach our kids till they are 18. I have been so lucky to have both my girls go through Mumbles. 1 from age 3 and the other from 10 months. Mumbles is an excellent nursery. They really take the time to know your child and build really strong relationships with them. This is clearly shown as my daughter runs straight in giving her teachers the biggest hug and smile. They make you as a parent feel so welcome and support us with any queries or issues but also celebrate us every now and again as parenting is a hard job. The communication is always open with regular updates on their app and when picking up they give a detailed account of their day. My eldest daughter who is now in year 2 still misses nursery and visits any chance she can get and my youngest has already said she wants to stay forever. They really let our children be children but also learn through play. They are outside enjoying nature any chance they get or inside crafting and exploring their creative side. Everything the staff do is for the children and the staff that work there, truly make it an amazing place. Mumbles is like a big family and will really cherish the next 11 months, saying goodbye to them next year will be one of the hardest things I'll have to do.
I am not someone to usually leave reviews but I had to for this amazing nursery and for the parents/caregivers who are worried about what the right nursery is for their child (myself when I was looking for a nursery for my daughter). If I could give mumbles 10 stars, I would. My daughter has been going to mumbles since she was 11 months old (she is now nearly 4). I was very nervous leaving her in the care of anyone but my family when returning back to work after MAT leave but I am so glad I picked mumbles and I wouldn’t change my mind if I could go back. I can’t speak highly enough about this incredible nursery. They offer an environment for children to grow, learn and explore all while caring and nurturing them. They keep you up to date at every given opportunity and they get to know every single child on an individual basis, from their personality, likes and dislikes. My daughter absolutely loves it there and it has been beautiful to see her come out of her shell, learn, grow, trust staff and meet all her friends. Not only that, but support families when needed, for example when my daughter was struggling with sleep they spoke with me through different options to try. I can’t thank mumbles enough for the love and support they have given to me and my daughter. I will truly be sad when she leaves mumbles for school this time next year. I can confidently say If you are looking for a nursery for your child, please don’t hesitate to get them into mumbles.
Our son is 2yrs +8mo old. He has been attending Mumbles for almost 2 years now and has been progressing very well. He is now trying alot more foods, and his speech is suddenly accelerating! It's great to see him slowly learn how to make and play with friends and also have independence and confidence. We are very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff are! Thank you for everything you do for the kids.
Would give 10 stars if possible. We've only been with Mumbles a short while but my word did we make the right choice. All the staff are so lovely, our child practically leaps from our arms in the mornings and very much looks forward to nursery. They have an app which gives us updates throughout the day, on what she's been up to/eaten/milk intake, etc. They have little events for us to attend with out children (so far we've experienced Sparklers and Sizzlers for bonfire night, and Remembrance with them), makes it all feel a lot more personal and friendly than just "here have my kid 5 days a week". My daughter adores her care workers, and has really come along with her social skills since starting, which was a concern for us as she was born in the pandemic. Thank you so much Mumbles.
Both my children attend Mumbles and love it! They both shout in happiness when they arrive. The staff are very nurturing and child focused, letting the children make their own decisions and learn at their own pace whilst still giving support and opportunities. They provide a great range of activities alongside the necessary development and learning and ensure that parents are fully informed of everything going on. I love the outdoors philosophy that is engrained in the daily life if the nursery. During the recent pandemic the staff have been excellent, ensuring necessary precautions are in place but without making it seem like there have been any changes or impact for the children. Would highly recommend.
My little boy attends the nursery and loves it. The staff are very nurturing whilst also promoting independence. The staff are always helpful and keep me informed of how my little boy is doing. I am pleased we chose the nursery, my thanks go to the staff.
Both of our children have attended Mumbles over the past 18 months and we have only had positive experiences. The staff are wonderful and have an excellent approach to help our kids grow, learn, and develop. Mumbles have created a lovely environment at the Sandon setting and always curate a variety of fun and educational activities. Since re-opening after lockdown, we have felt that the nursery have endeavoured to make the nursery safe and suitable for our children to continue their Mumbles journeys.
When we moved to Salt, we had made the decision to put our first and only boy (very precious to us) into a nursery for 2 days a week. We found mumbles and liked everything about it when we visited. Despite feeling confident it was the right place for our baby boy I was still very anxious about the change for both of us. Mumbles have not failed to deliver for us as a whole family. They have been patient (more so with me) and very reassuring, no matter how many times I called to check on George they never once made me feel silly. Although George loves mumbles he doesn’t do the drop off very well, I am just so grateful that the staff are always understanding and make it as easy as possible for both George and I. George has reached so many milestones and I give credit to mumbles for how he is developing so well. He takes part in forest school and dance sessions every week as well as many other activities they deliver. I could not recommend mumbles enough. Thank you for everything you do for George and his family x
