Amazing experience at Kurdistan! The food is authentic and full of flavor, but what really stands out is the staff — incredibly friendly and welcoming. The manager is always present, organized, and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. You can feel the attention to detail in everything. Highly recommended!

Never ordering from here again. Ordered ribs and got something i would serve to a dog instead. The food looked like it had either been eaten or they sent over someone’s leftover scraps. Very disappointing as i have been a regular here for years. The worker Ali was refusing to fix the problem, apologise, offer fresh food or even exchange or refund. Instead kept putting the phone down. Will not be introducing anyone to kurdistan restaurant again as they have dropped significantly in their quality of food.

Kurdistan Restaurant is situated on a road with plenty of restaurants and takeaways. Good news is plenty of street parking available after 6.30. Like most of the places offering food on this street, the food is better than the outside appearance. Most items come with meat or lentil soup and a nan for free. I personally dislike lentils, but this soup was very very tasty. No complaints whatsoever. The Kurdistan Special Mix Kebab platter was very flavorful, this comes with Jalik, fries and a salad as well as a coke. All the skewers were as good as each other so difficult to pick a favorite skewer. The BBQ ribs comes with fries. This was good but I am not sure if BBQ is an apt description. Teshreeb, this is a slow cooked lamb in a special sauce. The meat was superb and falling of the bone. Taste wise, this isn't my cup of tea. Although other people in my group did enjoy it. The staff are very friendly and the place does get crowded at times. Nans are very cheap, although it is not the type of nan you would get in an Indian restaurant. They are tasty. As always this was my experience and YMMV.

Tried lamb shank with rice, soup, salad. Overall good food and good staff. Have tried it once in the pas as well and enjoyed. Taste is still good. You can park in any nearby street or main springbank road after 6:30 for free. Just a tip.

Staying in Hull for a long weekend, we decided to try the Kurdistan Restaurant after trawling through the 'places nearby' on the web. We were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, the food plentiful and very tasty and service was attentive without being obtrusive. For the first time in over 40 years I was tempted by the tea and I enjoyed it so much I asked for a second glass...now to find out where I can purchase some from. All-in-all a very enjoyable meal and so very reasonably priced too. If ever back that way we would not hesitate in eating there again.

First time visiting Hull, decided to have lunch at Kurdistan since google reviews were all good. Unfortunately, my family and i were not very impressed. When we were seated, we were given bottles of water, which is a lovely gesture. We were also given lentil soup on the house which was absolutely delicious. We were pretty thrilled with the hope that the mains would be just as good. Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered a family meal with a variety of dishes as well as two chicken rolls for the kids. It was not great. It wasnt worth the money either. I would not go back to this restaurant

The restaurant has an old school feel to it, which I loved in the era of Instagram places. It was my first time having Kurdish food and it was super tasty, serving was generous. So in my opinion order carefully. Delicious appetisers were served, I liked the lentil soup. Biryani, chicken , sheesh very savoury, they weren’t spicy but flavourful. The spinach soup was too sour for my taste but my partner liked it. The server was a kind lady and kept checking if we were happy with our food.

It's great place for eat. Very big choice of different foods. Soup it's free, you can eat before a waiting your food. It's not expensive. For 10 pounds it's more than enough. Not all people can finish what ordered. Just the one minuses: inadequate service. But food is really good.
