    The funky fryer is a good traditional fish and chip shop. The fish and chips are always very good. The patties ( a hull speciality) have a nice flavour and texture. The staff are very friendly and the service has always been good. It is a convenient fish shop for me as there is so much free parking.

    The food was tasty but it was not as warm as other chippies which are steaming hot, chips were dry but the mushy were yummy. After spending £4 on sausage, chips and mushy peas; I didn't even get an offer for a better fork. Lucky i carry one. The staff are friendly.

    Popped in today just for a quick dinner of gravy chips and scraps, the chips are cooked to perfection, the best in a while,, and the gravy is lovely today also, the fryer has done a really good job
