always quality food here, chips are better than the plaice on the hill which is next door. Always my go to for a takeaway when i have no idea what to get, always quick and simple, everyone who works here is lovely and have never had a problem.
One of the best Chinese take away. I was just working next to this place and i thought let try this and i was amazed how tasty and well cooked food whas there. Mainly im from london but i never had better Chinese take away then this place. Highly recommended
Came into this establishment on a lunch break hoping to scran some salt and chilli chips and curry sauce only to find that they have a card limit of £20. As someone that has worked in customer service for years, I can completely understand the need to have a card limit due to taxation and the ability to maximise profits. However £20 is just complete greed by the business. After my friend went to a local cash point we were able to order, however upon return, we were waiting 10 minutes to be served and even longer for the single portion of chips. The chips were mid at best. Will not be returning!!
Would strongly advise avoiding this place at all cost!!! Have been using dragon inn for the several years even when living in horndean, unfortunately the second to last meal wasnt great and gave my family very upset stomach’s! (We all have cast iron guts)! thinking it may have just been a one off we ordered again from there last night 25/10/2024 and the food was even worse, they have clearly changed some ingredient's or started using more and more artificial products to boost the flavour along with msg, the 4 of us from 11pm onwards have been violently sick and have had diarrhoea this so far has lasted 12 hours and still continuing ! Its a shame because there service is always great and speedy delivery, it was one of the best chinese take outs in the area however as stated above they are either using alot of artificial products / too much MSG or just not storing / cooking the meat properly which i mention as all 4 of us had different dishes ranging from spare ribs to chicken curry, beef chowmein, and even spring roll. Very disappointed ❌
Prices seem to go up regularly and the portion sizes/quality go down. Cold reheated chips, stale soggy batter really dissapointing. Not good value for money. I don't think I've ever had freshly cooked chips there. Stick to the Chinese food as that's good I will say that , but as a chip shop no.. At least there's a chippy , pizza place and Indian either side to spend money at now! Such a shame because the lad that works there is always friendly and welcoming.

A lovely take away, my newest discovery the last few meals have been absolutely top notch .And this place is right on the doorstep . I would recommend it to anyone. There is a choice of small or lage portions. I guarantee you won't go hungry. Well done to all concerned. P.s the batter on the balls is crispy and light, and cooked perfect everytime.
