Had a really awful takeaway meal for five people from here tonight. Tasteless, barely warm, cheap fatty meat, not colourful or tasty. Really gone down hill. We spent £65.00 and what a waste of money, not using this Chinease take away again I'm afraid .
Ordered Kung pow chicken, spare ribs in sauce and chips. Terrible. Chips were like cardboard and the kung pow tasted like it had been dinged in the microwave from last week. The fact it only took them 2 minutes to come up with my order should have been a red flag. Not had the ribs yet. Not sure I want to. Absolute rubbish and embarrassing for them. Based on other reviews, do they care? Over priced too for one person.
ordered takeout from here last night. would not take card only cash which i didn't see as too much of a problem, however me and my boyfriend have both woken up with food poisoning this morning and both feel awful. there didn't look to be anything wrong with the food when we received it other then it being extremely greasy but are extremely disappointed that restaurant food standards can still be this low.
Takeaway so no high score for atmosphere Food and service has been very good but are a bit pricey so don't use as often now but food good
As usual, a delicious meal, thank you. Had my son and daughter in law staying and they thought it was one of the best they’ve had. Plenty to eat and friendly, helpful owners too. Would highly recommend and will be back soon.
Ordered food last night a complete disappointment and very expensive almost £40 for one small bag of food.the portions were very small in fact the bbq ribs were just 4 dried up small bones with a cup of bland sauce.everything else was small and very disappointing.will avoid this place in the future.I would rather have beans on toast then order here again..
Have used this establishment many times and the food has always been good. BUT phoned to place an order earlier this week and told they do not take credit cards for delivery only cash! Asked if they take cheques and told no, cash only. This is not a good idea with the current COVID situation so will result in loss of my business. Crazy decision making people handle cash in these COVID focussed times.
A very good English and Chinese takeaway. They have good food at decent prices, good service and fairly quick waiting times. This has a lot of Competition from Happy Chef which is only a short drive down the road, because of this, it doesn't attract a lot of customers but can get busy on a good day. I'd definitely recommend this to others.
