   I contacted the nursery after being informed they had space for my child. On the phone, I explained that my child is nonverbal, and they assured me it wouldn’t be an issue. When I went to visit, however, they started listing reasons why my child might struggle. I explained that my child has been attending nursery since he was 1 year old and absolutely loves it. They told me they needed to consult someone to determine if they could accept him and promised to call me back. Unfortunately, they never followed up—not with a call or even an email. Just sharing my experience.

   My daughter has gone here for nearly 4 months now, I’m so happy and comfortable leaving her here. I visited 3 other nurseries before choosing and I can honestly say my decision was weighted on the staff. They are so present with the children and the manager isn’t hidden away in an office. She is consistently playing with the children, answering the door/interacting with parents and clearly supports her staff. My little girl is so happy here and her development has been amazing since she started. Can not recommend enough

   Where do I start? 10/10 The best nursery around. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Genuinely so so kind and caring. My son would come home and tell me facts that even I didn't know! He is full of knowledge and they teach him how to be a better well rounded person. He knows how to share, socialise, lessons about the world, culture, different countries, love, playing nicely, treating each other with respect. My son went to a nursery for 3 months before I moved him here. I moved him here because I got a call from giggles and wiggles (I was on the waiting list for Brampton, so they called and let me know about the Basford nursery). He used to cry when I left him, however this completely stopped after the first day of leaving him at giggles and wiggles. I thought he cried at the previous one because he young, but it turns out, no matter the age, this nursery clearly makes your children feel welcome and happy. The activities that they do are absolutely amazing, constantly playing outside, feeding them healthy cooked meals daily, there are so many toys to play with. My son only ever talks about nursery positively and sometimes asks if he can go back to nursery at the weekend! Because the 'toys are so good'. I cannot even begin to go into the amazing activities they do with the children, but they are ever changing and there is something for everyone. They explore the outdoors and enjoy fresh air all the time. They do a brilliant job at keeping the children entertained and my son really has grown as a person from the positive impact giggles and wiggles has had on him over the last 3 years. The online app is also very good, it has made it easy to communicate with nursery, especially during the pandemic. It is lovely to see photos of your child having a nice time in the day. They also inform you what they are going to do for the day each morning. What they have eaten and how much they have eaten, I never have to worry about leaving him because I know the staff look after him so well and take on any concerns I have as well. They are very patient, have been amazing with covid. When I moved him from part time to full time, he didn't seem phased at all by spending more time here because he loves it so much. I knew what fun he was having and it made me feel less guilty about having to work full time. I feel that he is very safe at nursery and couldn't recommend this nursery enough. The staff completely make the nursery and I cannot express my appreciation enough. My son has gone to this nursery from ages 1 to 4.5years and he really has loved it. Thank you so so much, we will miss you once school starts x

   My son loves going to this nursery. All the staff are friendly, helpful, pacient, always ready to help and support and children love them. Also, the activities are helping our children develop and discover the world! I feel that Giggles and Wiggles is a safe place for my child, a place where he has friends and where he develops every day!
