   This is the friendliest most professional Credit Union that I have had the privilege to save with. The manager Jackie is always happy to give advice and seems to have an endless supply of financial knowledge. The other members of the team are also friendly and happy to help.

   I've been both saving and borrowing from the St Machar credit union now for close on 5 years, they have enabled me to finance some life changing decisions and that's no exaggeration, I have more savings because of working alongside the union than I've managed with my bank, the staff are beyond helpful and considering the general areas they serve their importance cannot be underestimated. I also took the trouble to learn of the credit unions beginnings and its both humbling and inspiring.

   First loan can only be for £250 & interest is very low and affordable - takes 3weeks to receive money and you have to pay £60 by s/o to receive it. Future loans will be quicker. Staff are friendly and helpful in office, phone calls though can takes days for reply.
