    We were very hungry so were super pleased to see a pret in town! I went for my usual- the ploughman's, which is possibly my favourite baguette from any high street chain. Service was really friendly and attentive and the food was done nice and quick (we also had a toastie and coffee). Limited seating when it's a busy day (we went on a saturday).

    I have been visiting this particular Pret when in York for a number of years now and must say I've never had anything but a positive experience. What keeps me coming back is not only the excellent choice of coffee and food but also the wonderful staff who never give anything other than first class service. A particular thanks to Daria who always seems the consumate professional and from a customer perspective, a real credit to Pret.

    Haven’t had a pret in a while, quality of the coffee is now barely drinkable there. Would recommend many independent coffee shops in York, the chain coffee quality is so poor these days, used to think pret was okay.

    Delighted with Almond Croissant! PRET Manager delivers top-notch quality and irresistible flavor. I adore it—delightful, tasty, and worth every penny. Highly recommend. But. It was 2.50 why it is now 2.65.

    Most exspensive can of diet coke in the UK £1.60!!! Tables and floors are filthy tables stained not maintaining standards of cleanliness. Staff very slow at serving customers.
