Absolutely amazing gem of a shop. Wonderful service and great range of fashion that is constantly updated. The prices are phenomenal, every time I have a friend staying I take them there! Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Great, independant shop. Lots of unique items of clothing and accessories. Christa is very helpful and knowledgeable. She will help advise on sizing etc (she even helped me decide which colour jumper to go for) I recently tried some leggings that unfortunately weren't right for me, but Christa immediately offered a refund or to pick something else...which of course I picked a new jumper!
We bought a fur lined waistcoat at Boutique 20 on 25 November. My girlfriend wore it once and was appalled to discover how the waistcoat shed its short fur lining at an alarming rate. After closer inspection we decided the only option was to return it. The young lady serving in the shop today was very quick to point out the seller‘s rights to not take back an item of clothing that, although in absolutely new (unfortunately hairy) condition, had (as honestly declared by us, the purchaser) only been worn once. When additionally declared that we could only proved purchase with a printed out bank transaction, she completely barricaded any further negotiation. Very disappointed to see this lack of business sense in any retail area. With her behaviour she successfully fended off the loss of £49.00 valuable revenue and should initially be congratulated. However the long term consequences of this attitude are only too well documented. We will avoid visiting Boutique 20 in future and will recover the wasted funds by dining out on the story and spreading bad press about the young lady‘s tactic as we feel appropriate. Never the less, sad to see this lack of social and business intelligence.
