   I used this company for purchasing and selling my property. During the purchase we had a very bad experience providing supporting documentation of funds and had to bring this matter up above the solicitor to upper management within the company. This matter was basically near the date of the handover of the keys which caused stress to everyone involved. After purchasing the property we were not given some keys for the property and items were removed post sale that were included in the particulars which we stated, however we kept on getting told they never met the qualifying £400 to proceed with a claim. There wasn't much help from the solicitor as these items were clearly over the qualifying amount and we felt that they never challenged Ledingham Chalmers enough. Getting stonewalled by excuses that the second hand value of these items were less. On selling my property I chose this company because their fees were the cheapest overall. However upon reflection I wish I chose Aberdein Considine as I feel they may have helped me more in selling my property with advice. I got next to no advice on selling my property when there was zero views and unfortunately the solicitor I dealt with initially who was very helpful left the company during my selling process. I didn't really know who my point of contact was for a time. I ended up just taking the value down in my property to help it sell and get some interest myself. Once I had a buyer I couldn't fault how they dealt with the transaction on selling. Overall, if you don't have a buyer I would recommend going through a company who focuses on selling properties solely. As you will loose money overall at the end taking the price down on your property to sell most likely. However if you do have a buyer and looking to keep fees low then id suggest this company to save money. A lesson well learnt for me for the future.
