As someone who is familiar with tweed, I had struggled to find a shop that offered both rentals and purchase options until I found them. They had the perfect selection of suits, with a variety of colours to match the bridesmaids’ dresses and different patterns of tweed too. I opted for a herringbone tweed, which tied the whole look together beautifully whilst having something different for myself to stand out. Sarah, who helped us through the process, was an absolute gem. She was incredibly patient with all my groomsmen, who arrived at different times for fittings, and made sure everything was ready ahead of the wedding. Each suit was perfectly bagged and tagged for easy collection, and I never had to worry about a thing. On top of that, their footwear selection was fantastic—comfortable for all-day wear and affordable, which is a rare find. This extra time made a world of difference, as it gave us time to relax and enjoy the celebrations without the rush of returning suits the day after the wedding. A big thank you to Sarah & team at Charles Gale. We ended up getting the Grooms, Best man & FOB suits from there. They listened to what I wanted and gave me a range of jackets, waistcoats and trousers to try on. I had to get some alterations made by the seamstress but everything was spot on. We were made to feel very welcome, & everyone I spoke with, was very polite & helpful. Highly recommend going with them!
We were extremely happy with the recent service provided by Charles Gale from whom we hired 5 wedding suits. The service was very professional yet friendly. The cost was also very reasonable. We were so grateful that they helped us find the perfect colour ties and pocket hankies after an alternative supplier let us down last minute. I bought my wedding suit and suits for my best men, from the team at Charles Gale. They could not have been more helpful and efficient during our multiple visits. They even managed to deliver a suit to my best man, on the week of the wedding, because he decided last minute that he wanted a different size. As well as buying our suits, we also got our tailorings done here, which were also completed to an extremely high standard. Great service
