    Really poor recent experience and to cut a very long story short - delivery took over 90 mins (nearly an hour late), customer service was terrible on the phone, pizzas were raw and chewy, I drove down to complain and the owner offered no gesture to apologise - not even a refund on the wasted delivery considering I’d had to eventually travel to the restaurant. The pizzas second time around were tasteless, dough was not fresh and not much better cooked than the first. As much as I hate to say it - save your money and get a Domino’s as it’ll be consistent, fresh and on time.

    Just recieved my order, although arrived in good time and warm, food was bland and chewy. Will not order again. EDIT** Food was in fact cold even though x was warm, apparently needing to add own garlic butter to the *prefrozen* base that was sent in bottom of box. Absolutely horrible. Ate onion rings and less than 1/2 of the chips. Atrocious food. Should have read the rest of the reviews before ordering. I REPEAT. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

    The worst takeaway ever! Ordered fish pizza (all big fish lovers). Pizza had no prawns or anchovies as was stated on the description, instead it had a substitute of big chunks of fish sticks, very little tuna and 4 pieces of mussels. Pizza was tasteless, loaded fries and chicken wings tasted like they been cooked 3 days ago, dry with taste of old oil. Overall absolutely terrible food, seemed stale, bland and tasteless. Very disappointed and will never order from there again.

    Pizza place and Verde used to be amazing now we’ve tried it a few times recently and every time it’s been disappointing. Cheese burnt on pizza and tastes like it’s been sitting for ages and cold chips, such a shame. Hope it improves in future

    I love the pizzas from here but tonight’s was a total disaster. Firstly it took 2 and half hours to deliver it. Phone wasn’t working so didn’t know what was happening. When the order came it was cold and pizza loaded In cheese and another free one was sent but it looked like something that was recooked way too much. So disappointing. Unfortunately I had paid on the app or I would just have went to bed and forgot about it

    Have genuinely never had worse pizza. Ordered 2 weeks ago and took over 2.5 hours to arrive. Gave it a second chance tonight. 1.5 hours wait for 2 x 12 inch pizza’s and a portion of chips - £28! Stone cold & soggy when it did arrive. Verde used to be great - won’t order again.
