It was quiet on the afternoon we visited. The staff were very friendly and answered a lot of questions for us, on best types of food and snacks for our puppies. Its nice to have a place like this in ellon and not have to travel into aberdeen to get this stuff

Shona provides first class customer service. She is the most helpful and accommodating small business owner. My dog LOVES to visit and she always makes time to chat & give him a wee treat. Incredibly friendly with a wide range of products at reasonable prices.
We like to support local businesses and were happy to find a good range of non-mainstream products, but the owner really let the shop down as she didn't seem to be that interested in helping us. She spoke to us reluctantly while busy with boxes of stuff, before she drifted off and made a point to us about hurrying up to let other people in to shop. There was plenty room in the shop and only one other customer so we didn't see what her problem was..? Didn't feel welcome during the whole visit and don't think we'll visit again.
New location a little further out of town centre for those without a car, but not that far and is pet friendly if you want to combine your visit with a dog walk? More roomy than last premises and good parking space. Still the usual friendly service, wide range of foods and treats, including lots of natural options and well-informed on dietary needs for pets. Plus a new loyalty scheme now in operation.

A lovely pet store with a good stock of items for most pets. Prices are good and the owner is welcoming and knowledgeable. Nice to see a good local business in Ellon and my dog loves the dog ice cream.
