   I was a customer in my local shop at the time the latest commenter was present.....unbelievable how people use social media using made up stories to make hard working small businesses look bad. Ali H you interrupted the lady whilst she was serving me which was rude, after receiving a full refund with no argument you then proceeded to hurl abuse at the lady which was totally unprovoked and unnecessary - obviously wanted to provoke an attack which you didn't get, so In my eyes the rude person was you and you need to seek further education on being kind!!! You reap what you sow in life. I was visiting my local store to collect an item which the lady had personally secured for me upon my request, now that is service which we locals love, so thankyou Allsorts and don't let the low life get you down I for one think you are Ace.

   Confrontational and rude shop keeper. Had two faulty items and accused of breaking one. Was begrudgingly given a refund and asked not to come back. Great way to treat customers and 5 stars for stars for the attitude. We won’t come here again for sure. Would have been easier to admit that the items were bad quality and return to supplier. But was annoyed at us and irritated for issuing a refund. Maybe you should learn consumer rights and how to treat a customer before starting a business. Will order from Amazon in the future. Shame really as I have spent money at this local business over the years. Don’t buy here

   Very disappointed. This morning on the 10th may. We decided to take a stroll from the caravan site to have a look through the shops. We stopped of here as its a beach and toy type of shop perfect to have a browse with children. While we was in here we had purchased 2 types of water guns for our children. After leaving the shop we had tried to fill the water guns with water but unfortunately one of the water guns water cap was stuck and the clip broke trying to open it. I took a walk back with both the children to ask for an exchange and explained the problem and this was not to much to ask and the exchange was being done. After the lady in the shop had tried 2 different guns with the same problem of the shelf her self and she had broken 2 her self we was then handed a replacement. The replacement still had the same issue. I had turned to the lady and said im going to try the orange coloured gun as this one seem to be fine. At this stage i was rudely met by the woman standing in front of me telling me i couldn’t look. Of course this was frustrating for my self. All we wanted was a a working replacement. She had then gone on to start being very rude and telling me the children had broken them even though she had just broken 2 her self. She then tried to snatch the gun out of my childs hand that diddnt have a problem. That was enough for me time to but my foot down. I had to turn and say to her, don’t you dare try to snatch something out of my child’s hand. This gun hasn’t got the issue the one with The issue is all we wanted to be replaced. You have stopped me looking for one that is. In working order myself and then you have the decency to try and snatch out of the child’s hand. Then accusing myself of being confrontational and shouting at her, which unfortunately I wasn’t as she would’ve known if I was. Unfortunately, when it comes to someone trying to approach my children and In her manner, that is a no go. Very unprofessional, very rude. I have been visiting the town for over 30 years And never come across someone so rude. The manager needs to sort this out and contact myself as to be totally honest this is disgusting behaviour from a staff member. And if you are the owner of the shop, you’re reading this shame on you. Refund given for 1 of the toys. All the above is just the experience of the shop this morning. But the reason for this review is her behaviour towards my self and how she thinks its is Acceptable to approach children in her manner. Mayb a bad day for her but no excuse. Outher than this a nice little beach town shop.

   Staying at nearby seal bay , we went in to look for a beach tent , bought a popup UV, only style available, which cost 28.99 which we felt was very over priced but due to the weather still purchased, we unfolded it at the beach and noticed how poor quality it was for the price, very thin material, within about half an hour we noticed small holes in the base, then a small tear appeared then a large tear , bearing in mind we only had the tent up 4 hours and only sat it in it for a maximum of around 45 minutes and were just going in and out to get our belongings, we took it straight back and were told we had ripped it and caught it on something , which we definitely had not, terrible quality product and bad customer service ! The product should have been refunded and returned to the manufacturer as it is not fit for purpose, if it was a £10 beach tent, you could accept the poor quality but not at almost £30, instead the lady finally said she would refund £10 and tried to put it back on us to feel bad as made a comment about paying it out if her own pocket, when actually we had just purchased a poor quality product , not fit for use !

   This has got to be one of the best shops in Selsey. A hidden gem where you can find just about anything you want from toys, shoes, cleaning materials to name but a few, and many things you can't find anywhere else. Been a saviour on many occasions. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Brilliant place!

   ***WARNING RISK OF BEING ACCUSED OF STEALING*** Poor service (Saturday 23rd Oct 21) sadly, my daughter brought a fidget popper from this shop, we paid and left about 15mins later the shop owner came running across the road accusing us of steal. We then had to return to the shop with the owner to prove the item wasn't stolen. My advice to the owner, check your cctv before accusing people of stealing.
