A really lovely store. We visited it this week and enjoyed browsing the different in store departments and making a purchase. The staff were very helpful. We were also speaking to the owner Mr Wadsworth himself and he was so friendly. We will definitely hope to shop here again soon.
I was in Newcastle today for a coffee but came away with a jacket and trousers to suit. Great shop to browse for mens clothes with a large range to view. The staff were so friendly and the girl who served me couldn't have been more helpful which made my purchase worth reviewing. Thank you Wadsworth as Arnie says "I'll be back" from Bangor.
Lovely to see an independent department store like this still trading strong. Met a lovely guy this weekend working in the men’s section. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back.
Have been shopping in Wadsworth for the last seven years or so and have found their jackets, trousers, shirts & shoes to be of first class quality. Not the cheapest clothing, but quality is worth paying for. Service I have found to be excellent- they even posted a pair of shoes to me when my size wasn't in stock. They will make alterations also if required. I called in today Fri 15th March 2024 to get a pair of trousers matched that I grew out of- needing a bigger size. I needed these to match a referees uniform. The young lady who served me knew her stuff, and was able to go straight to the rail where that make of trouser was hanging. She was able to match all the codes including colour match, and had my size in it. It was good to come back after five years to get the same trouser, although she said it was going out of stock, so I was just in time! Have to say a big thank you to the lady for being so attentive- (Sorry don't know her name- blonde hair) and for her excellent service today. I'm not local, but when taking a trip to Newcastle- I will always call in for a look round.
I have shopped at Wadsworth s for over 20 years During this time the staff always very helpful , Great bargains , Quality clothing , many of these years I was served by Jeremy Carson himself. I cannot understand after 4 years of absence you retain-such bitterness and sour grapes (eaten bread soon forgotten.)
Went into exchange a xmas present and found staff very helpful and pleasant in every way this is a shop I seldom visited but after today I will certainly call on more regular basis

Biggest selection of suits ever, and lots of great shoes, with expert staff and good value.
Two much clutter in this shop needs to have a massive sale to get rid of old stock staff are lovely and very helpful. .
Staff are always very helpful and will go out of their way to help you find you the perfect outfit. Some beautiful unique pieces at an affordable price.
