   Honestly used to recommend this store. It was great for getting bits we needed. The events are amazing for the children however I have been very disappointed recently. To go to the meet and greet children must be supervised. Last meet and greet I took my Mum so we could eat afterwards in Newcastle. I had paid £15 for my childs ticket. On my arrival I was told I had to pay another £30 for me and my mother even though we had no desires to meet and greet. A BBQ was advertised however was cold sausages and stale rolls. Ontop of my daughters £15. I'd to spend £30 to accompany an underage child and to pay her £120 bill as she didn't have the means to pay. Absolutely shocking and have refused to attend future events and will purchase online or elsewhere. Turning into a complete scam

   Be aware that they do not give refunds anymore so you can’t take products home to try them. Also, twice I have been charged far more than the sticker price so be careful when you get to the till. Shaun has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in customer service and the way he speaks to the female staff members is a disgrace. Local businesses like this need to be offering better service if they expect customers to support them, especially since everything in Holmestead is about 30% more expensive than buying online from other retailers. Lastly, apart from overpriced LeMieux fashion wear, it doesn’t have much to offer anymore.

   An outstanding tack shop and much more. Always greeted super warmly when arriving usually with coffee and tea which immediately settles you in. Staff are super helpful warm and caring, have never had an issue with a single thing and priced fairly for the products too which range from high to low. Highly recommend them and then a walk on minerstown beach

   I attended the store last week when esme was visiting! It was very busy with a great deal of excitement! We were there to get my daughter fitted for a new back protector. The staff were quite literally run of their feet! However they were so professional friendly and helpful! They took their time with us and when they didn't actually have her size the phoned another store and had it delivered! Well done guys great customer service! Wonderful stsff!

   Best place for Equestrian gear. My wife and daughter had me in it for over an hour. Next time they are going down themselves and ill get a few hours peace. But definitely the spot for horsie people.

   Purchased clippers which were not cheap! Returned the clippers to NI store as they did not do the job! Still waiting for money to reach my account months later! Not impressed and will not be shopping again. Sad as I have used them for years
