   Had a space free on short notice for our dog Alfie. He had a difficult year and displayed sever anxiety and we looked for a quiet kennel. Aquithie was the perfect place and Su, Euan and John were amazing with Alfie. He came out of the kennels more lively than he went in and we got some valuable advice on managing his anxiety. I think it says a lot about a place when your dog runs towards the kennel door with a waggling tail and a happy face for his second visit. It's obvious to us that Alfie enjoys it there and loves the staff. Su and her team has the best interests for your dog at heart and I know I can leave Alf there and enjoy our holiday with peace of mind. Will use them any time again in the future rather than pet sitters from rover or other kennels.

   We have used Aquithie kennels quite a few times over the last few years as these kennels are outstanding in comparison to any others we have ever used. They are always exceptionally clean throughout and the blankets, bedding, food bowls etc are always immaculate. Our dog always comes back clean, happy, well fed and very well looked after and is always happy to go back in for a visit. Su, the owner, is a lovely, approachable woman and always has our dogs best interests at heart. We most definitely wouldn’t use any other kennels now that we have found Aquithie, we are so very grateful to have somewhere we can leave our dog and enjoy our holiday with peace of mind.

   Aquithie Kennels were the only place I would have trusted to look after my 2 Ridgebacks for the last 18 months as I was doing a rotation in Abu Dhabi. Finally Su took care of them for 2 months when I was setting up home in Abu Dhabi. Every time I collected them they were in tip top condition and were always happy to return. Also I have used Aquithie for the last 30 years for cats and dogs and have never had anything to concern me, quite the opposite. Many thanks Su !!!!

   Decided to try here as our regular kennel was on holiday and was recommended. Absolutely horrified to get my dogs home today. Put my 2 dogs in last week for 6 nights. Very obvious they never had their walking harness'a removed as dogs were itching and hair has worn away! One of the dogs food bowls had poo attached to it, along with poo both in the kennel and the path outside. Their beds were soaked in pee so obviously not been let out and they had bugs in them!! It's very clear they didn't get the attention and care as stated on the website and saw no other staff when dropping off or picking up! Kennel was also very small for 2 dogs and £55 a night is a joke for the space given to them and what is a really disappointing level of care!

   I have so many wonderful things to say about Su and Aquithie Kennels. I recently arrived from the US with two dogs in tow--with the same paperwork. One was released to us the other put in quarantine. As we are based out of Scotland I chose Aquithie Kennels as it was the closest kennel that manages quarantine. I was distressed to put it mildly. I was able to connect with Su quickly and she immediately got the process started to transfer Shakko to Aquithie Kennels. Within a day of his arrival she and the vet were able to see that he met the requirements for entry and had been erroneously quarantined. Su then helped appeal Shakko's case quickly so he was back with me in ten days. Su went above and beyond to communicate with me regularly, even when I was perhaps messaging too much. She put me at ease and took time to educate herself on his breed and listen to my concerns. When I picked Shakko up he was in good spirits and had been well taken care of. Having never been kenneled before I was glad he went through it with Aquithie as I couldn't have asked for better care for him during this process. If you have to board or quarantine your dog in Scotland (or the UK) and don't know where to go, I recommend them with every fibre of my being. Su, her husband, and her team care about each of the animals and their human families that stay at Aquithie.

   We have just taken our west highland terrier out of Aquithie kennels, after a 12 day stay. We have no doubt she enjoyed her stay. I would recommend them to anyone who has to board their pet. The staff were helpful when we boarded her and made sure she has everything she needed. They followed all our instructions that excluded her medication Well done Aquithie.

   Our rescue dog was under the care of Su and Vicki at Aquithie during a quarantine period. We are so grateful for the love and care they gave our girl, especially during such a confusing time for her. When we came to pick her up it was clear she had such an amazing bond with both women, and that she had been well cared for by loving hands. Would highly recommend Aquithie both for quarantine and kennels. What special ladies they both are, I can't describe how grateful I am to them :)

   My labradoodle (Dougal), kennels here and he is very well looked after. All the staff I have met ( Vicky, Euan and Su the owner) are all really friendly and seem very caring towards Dougal. I have recommended the kennels to a couple of friends and they have been impressed too.

   Our old, German Shepherd gentleman was very well looked after by the team at Aquithie. He had numerous problems - including bad joints and bowel problems while there, and nothing was too much trouble. He was given special food at my request, walked at no extra charge and was a very happy dog when I collected him again. I would highly recommend Aquithie Kennels - they really know what they are doing!
