   I would 100% recommend Lee at Jacobs Auto Repairs. He was the only garage locally willing to take on a very big job changing the engine on my Ford Transit van after the wet belt snapped. Lee kept me informed of the progress of the work and gave great advice on the benefits of replacing additional parts. His rates were very reasonable and the work has been completed to a very high standard and it’s evident that Lee takes great pride in his work. When I picked the van up I was very impressed with the set up in the garage and how clean and organised it appeared to be. Finally the aftercare and support has further demonstrated his commitment to customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend this garage for anyone looking for a knowledgable and friendly mechanic.

   Lee was absolutely absolutely top drawer. I went to him late one afternoon with what I thought was an exhaust issue. Lee diagnosed the problem quickly (failing wheel bearing) despite me throwing him off on the wrong track. He ordered the part and squeezed me in the next day which I was very grateful for as I had a long journey ahead of me and he had to work to my timetable. Really first class service.

   Really friendly and honest about what you need and what you don't ie. doesn't create extra work to 'bump up' the bill. Very professional service and gives options of parts, oils etc, so you can fine tune your service needs. There's room to wait or about a 20min walk into Fareham town centre. I highly recommend, even if you have to travel further (I travel 15 miles), it's worth it if you want your car looked after and not get ripped off.
