Great garage. Brought Caddy in for a EGR valve replacement, quoted a very fair price and they were more than willing to do the work where others did not want to take it on. Clean workshop, happy to give honest advice and van was completed when they said it would be. Not a single fault since the work. Highly recommend.
This place used to be good. But their longest mechanic has left , and since the new rebranding it's slowly gone down hill. my last two visits have been troublesome. I gave them the benefit of the doubt last time but this time I also had issues where work that was asked to be carried out was not done. And they claim they don't have time to resolve the issues. Wont be using them ever again.
I recently had my vehicle at Speedy Spanners and was charged £150 for the replacement of the starter motor, a job which typically takes around 20 minutes. Unfortunately, upon collecting my vehicle, I discovered that the starter motor had not been correctly connected to the alternator, which subsequently affected the performance of the battery. When I returned the vehicle to Speedy Spanners to address the issue, I was advised that they could not provide a clear timeframe for when the fault could be rectified. As I required the vehicle urgently, I had no choice but to arrange for an RAC mechanic to attend and resolve the issue at my own additional expense. It is also worth noting that the vehicle was originally brought in to address an oil leak, which remains unresolved despite the visit. Overall, this experience has resulted in significant inconvenience and unexpected costs due to the incomplete and unsatisfactory work carried out.
My first time using Speedy Spanners and I will continue to use them for future garage needs. My car went in for a service and MOT. The guys were friendly, polite, honest and happy to answer any questions. The use of the courtesy car made for a very convenient day. All in all a great experience and would recommend!
Speedy Spanners have done a lot of work to my car since I got it. Last week my car started vibrating when I was driving it. I booked the car in and they picked it up from my home and took it away to investigate the problem. It turned out to be the front right brake. They replaced the caliper, pads and disc and returned my car home. I was kept me informed every step of the way. I can't thank them enough and would totally recommend them.
I’ve been here twice now, once for MOT and yesterday for an oil change. They were very helpful and honest Great prices and all the stuff are very friendly. My car was fixed the same day within a couple of hours! Highly recommend

Have used these a few times for mot's, repairs and every time they're honest, fair and extremely reliable. Never before have I comfortably gone to mechanics knowing I'll get a quality job done and no extras that aren't needed. They're always very professional, do a quality job and always try to go that bit extra which in my experience is very rare in this trade. Honest, reliable, friendly and efficient.. Definitely the most honest and reliable that I've personally used and always will.. 10/10..
