   This coy from Ireland with totally unhelpfull unfriendly staff sent us item that was not as described ,we paid for 2 items BLACK damp proof LINEING, BLACK as shown on their site black but they sent pale grey with word black written on it ,we will never shop with j Knox & sons again ,surely they know difference between BLACK & pale grey ??. The response from this Irish company was poor ,they refused to send order as described on their ebay site refused refund, be warned we will never shop with them again ,grey colour with black written on it is grey ,not BLACK, Absurd people. They have been in buissines for long time but are loseing politeness & ability to be friendly helpful to customers , as the review below suggests 1 *.

   Absolute joke of a place! Went in to purchase a new gas tank and went into the shop. Was told by a guy on the floor that we had to go to the hardware counter so went round and stood and waited to be served for ages.... got the counter to be told that to get a gas tank we’d need to go to the builders merchants so walked across to the builders yard where we were handed a gas tank and a docket and told it could not be paid for here we’d have to pay in the shop! Went to the shop and picked up another homeward item and went to pay. Got to the till and handed over the docket and the item only to be told rudely you can’t pay for gas here you’ll have to go to the hardware counter! Absolute waste of my time being shipped from pillar to post and not one staff member pleasant. Won’t be getting my money again.
