   After a bad experience at a nearby practice, I decided to switch to Smile Dental as an NHS patient, and I'm so glad I did. The practice itself is bright, modern, and spotlessly clean. Aisha and her assistant Claudia have been fantastic. I’ve had two fillings, a cleaning, and an extraction, all with no pain at all. Aisha is professional, efficient, and friendly, which is exactly what I want in a dentist. I’ve been recommend them to my friends as a good practice is hard to find.

   Rania is a lovely dentist, I was private previously but couldn’t afford to keep paying the extortionate prices. Since seeing her she has reassured me that work my previous dentist said needed doing now doesn’t actually need doing that urgently. She believes in preventative dentistry rather than giving you expensive crowns when they currently are not needed. Very thorough, always explains things. Very happy patient.

   I’ve just attended a scale and polish. Once finished, I noticed the hygienist left an unpolished part of a bottom tooth which is quite visible. I tried to raise it but the hygienist was running 10 minutes late so she quickly dismissed me and called her next patient in. Not the type of reply I was expecting considering I pay for this service and I was on time for my appointment.

   I had a filling replaced on Thursday and having not had a filling for quite a few years I was feeling slightly apprehensive. However, it was a virtually painless experience and I decided not to have anaesthetic because the injection and resulting numb jaw is usually the worst part. As always, Zita was very thorough and did a great job replacing my filling - I can't feel it at the side of my tooth like I could with the old one. Overall, a very efficient service all round. I've only given four stars not five because I had a 20 minute wait - but that's pretty minor and much quicker than the wait time for the GP!

   I have had a phobia of dentists since I was given a filling with not enough local anesthetic to which was about 15 years ago, I was reluctant going to a dentist but I was allocated the most amazing dentist! He has carried out extensive work on my teeth, and I'm so thankful because they look amazing! He has a way of doing injections without feeling the needle go in, and they are very accommodating and caring unlike other dentists. They will explain everything they need to do and don't leave you guessing. I highly recommend this dentist I don't have any complaints, the waiting time is quite long but totally worth it, I can see why they are in such high demand.

   Coming from someone who has a severe injection phobia, my dentist was fantastic and made me feel calm during the ordeal. Couldn't ask for a better dentist. Those rating this down because they missed an appointment and got put off the register, tip: Don't miss your appointment and waste their time, pick up the phone and cancel with due notice; the policy is the same elsewhere.
