   My daughter has been dancing with Miss Shannon for a number of years now and it’s been the making of her! She’s suffered with anxiety on and off since she was very little but dance has been her escape! Miss Shannon and her team understand the challenges young people are going through & provide a safe, enjoyable space for them to really let go and express themselves. Not to mention the vast experiences provided on stages across various events, including television productions! I’m so pleased my daughter goes here.

   We wanted our first dance to be something truly memorable, and thanks to Shannon at Shannon Louise Dance Academy, it was pure magic! She helped us choreograph a beautiful routine to “You’re Still the One” by James Arthur, and somehow turned our two left feet into a performance we were genuinely proud of. Every lesson was filled with laughter, encouragement, and creativity, and she made even the tricky parts (yes, including the lift!) feel achievable. The moment we pulled it off and saw everyone’s faces was unforgettable and something we will remember forever. We couldn’t recommend Shannon more highly, if you want to surprise your guests and actually have fun learning, Shannon is the one!

   We both went to SLDA to practice our wedding dance (we are both not very good dancers). In the space of two lessons, Shannon had us comfortably executing a 2 minute routine with a further 2 lessons to finesse that routine. Shannon has a lovely, friendly temperament and is an excellent teacher. We had no idea we would enjoy the dancing so much and we really look forward to coming back again after our wedding to continue some more fun routines. Thank you very much Shannon!
