   Unfortunately my hair cut was a complete disaster. First of all I booked a restyle with cut and blow dry, but when I got there they asked if I wanted it washed but I had washed earlier that day so said it was ok. I showed pictures of the style I wanted and it looks nothing like it, the stylist didn’t fill me with confidence and seemed to not know what she was doing and kept asking me if it was ok and I would say no and show the pictures again. This happened a few times and after nearly an hour just cutting and hacking at my hair I said I need end to go home and I would play with it at home as it wasn’t sitting right. She offered to sort it out but at this stage I had lost all confidence and didn’t want any more hacked off. I need to now find a hairdresser who can do a short funky spiky hair cut and try to save my hair. In the meantime I will be wearing a hat in public. The hairdresser herself was very nice and chatty but I’m sorry I think some more learning is needed on short hair. Also she didn’t offer to style it or anything to make it look any better . Also it wasn’t until I got home that I had an email to change my appointment to a cut only. My cut in the images and what I wanted too

   Very lovely lady done my hair nicely today . Im soo happy with it . Exacly how I showed and wanted in the picture . Left really happy . Also the only place that accepted my walk in today . Definitely recommend this salon and i will be returning here in future .

   Nice salon but the haircut was awful, asked for a fringe but it was cut really badly and unevenly, and had to trim it myself at home and also cut more hair into it. But the hair wash was nice.

   Really disappointed! I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago because of the amazing reviews but sadly I was let down. I showed the stylist an inspiration photo (2 times) I wanted an ombré/balayage effect. I told the hairdresser about previous hair colour etc. I then left the salon with too much dye on my hair, it looked nice but it wasn’t really what I wanted but I figured the unwanted colour would grow out eventually anyway. However the next morning I woke up with bright orange patchy hair! I sent them pictures the next day and they offered me a retone but after that experience I was too scared to go back. I then asked for a partial refund for the hair colour via Facebook messenger and I was ignored. Since then I got 2 other hairdressers opinions and also told them my colour history to which they said, my hair should not have turned orange. Baring in mind, I did not wash my hair after this appointment or put any products on it. Thankfully I’m in a good position to be able to get my hair redone by somebody else otherwise I’d be walking around with orange hair and £100 looser.

   I had a Hollywood wax here today by a really lovely young lady, (sorry I didn’t catch her name) she made me feel super comfortable and did a really amazing job, she removed All hair which when I’ve had a wax before, the lady wasn’t able too. She was very Thorough, Thank you :)

   There is always a warm welcome when you visit Kuru. The staff are cheerful and friendly, regardless of whether you are a returning customer or visiting for the first time. They take the time to listen to your requirements, and consult on achieving the best outcome. I visited today after a six month break due to redundancy, and left feeling like a goddess. Thank you Hannah, you truly made me feel good about myself again.

   The staff at Kuru are always friendly and professional. I have been using Kuru for many years and even when staff changed I always knew there would never be a problem with whoever took over. They are always happy to talk through what you want done and advise. Would definitely recommend them.
