Recently purchased tv from burys to replace my faulty on unfortunatly it does not function correctly the was no after sales help from david bury staff they were quick enough to take my money but when it came to sorting out my issues they were not interested just fobbed off with rubbish that my aireal was not fit for purpose. My advice to all you people out there contemplating the purchase of any electrical item dont buy from Burys or you may well regret it like i have done ( try currys, peter rhodes , or faulkners in louth) to get better service and more respect amd help from there staff.
Rang the store 10.30am with a problem on my rented machine new one installed 4 hrs later! Best provider in Grimsby - have used the store for 40 yrs! Great service & great delivery guys thankyou!!
Bought integrated washing machine from a very nice and informative gentleman - paid for delivery - taking old washer away and fitting my door to the machine - approx £109.95 - what I got was a washer delivered - told my outlet pipe block and that the door couldn't be fitted and did I really need the door - as I pointed out if I hadn't wanted the door fitting I would have chosen a black not white washer to match my kitchen - as it was late delivery man said he couldn't come back in the next 2 days as he had jobs to go to and not to use the washer - I set to and cleaned out all the blocked pipes because I needed to do washing then waited - approx 7 days later I rang told the shop and explained to the assistant who said I'll find our what's happening and that was the last I heard - so the old washer which I had put into the garden before delivery together with all the packing left and no door fitted - I had to ring the scrap man who took it for free - I filled my bins with the packaging and got another tradesman to fit my door which was a simple easy job - so £109.95 for delivery - left in the lurch and still to this day no contact is less than OK- the 1 star is for the man who served me ***UPDATE recieved a phone call to resolve my experience - wonderful man who apologised for my customer service and offered a full refund of my delivery and fitting charges - very prompt and yes I would shop there again- Thank you very much
I went to David Burys last week and they were very helpful as I wanted to have a look at the washing machines. I finally ordered one for the end of the month to be delivered, install and dispose of the old one.
Just purchased a fridge freezer for my daughter. Great service and staff very friendly and helpful. They delivered the same day as their fridge freezer had broken and saved throwing hundreds of pounds worth of food out. Would 100% recommend David Bury for value, customer service and speedy delivery. Thank you!
I have been renting stuff of my David bury ltd for about 10 years and I have never had any problems then l currently rent a TV & a fridge freezer & a washing machine and just recently bought a new cooker of them and all I can say is there service was great and the best thing is if they do go wrong sometimes the same day or the next day and also if you want to change or upgrade there is no problem.
Great, friendly customer service, knowledgeable but not pushy staff and they delivered my washer (free) the same day and at the same price as online or currys. After being delivered a faulty washer from curry’s and spending several hours arranging a refund it was refreshing to speak to a real person and get a new washer within three hours of going to the store. Lesson learnt and would definitely shop here again instead of online/curry’s!
