    I’ve never had an bad experience here! Everyone is so lovely & talented. Can’t recommend Pixies enough from hair to beauty treatments. Tanisha is fabulous with my boys hair and he leaves over the moon everytime !

    Pixies is a gem of a hair salon! The care and attention Katie, Kelly, Tee and Charlie gave to my daughter was absolutely incredible. My daughter was booked to have highlights done, in particular her roots and to add more blonde to her darker hair at the back. After Charlie had taken the back foils out she went to speak to her manager without us knowing as she was concerned about the condition of my daughter's hair. Kelly and Katie came over and didn't waste a second. The bleach was washed off and Katie was very honest telling us she was worried about breakage. She combed it through and said luckily it wasn't as bad as she thought but that whatever product had been used previously to lighten Belle's hair had reacted with the bleach Charlie had put on. Tee asked if my daughter had ever used a box dye and said the reaction my daughter's hair had had was similar to henna because it would have the same texture and dryness. Katie gave us a bag full of Marie Mila products at no charge to restore my daughter's hair and repair the bonds as she said, "Your hair is dead" and she felt sorry for the experiences she had been through with another hairdresser as well. She also didn't charge us for the appointment. We were at Pixies for five and a half hours while they worked their magic. Katie, Kelly and Tee constantly checked my daughter's foils and told us what they were doing every step of the way. My daughter's hair is a beautiful blonde and told me that, until now, her hair has not been looked after properly and she hasn't had as much incredible advice about hair care and what products to use and when. I know this is a lengthy review but deservedly so as, honestly, the staff at Pixies are absolutely fantastic who are so knowledgeable and deserve to do so well. X

    I pre-booked a makeup appointment via the Fresha app around 8 weeks in advance for a wedding. I received confirmation by email and provided my card details as requested. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist couldn’t find my booking. After I showed her the confirmation, she checked again and told me the appointment had been cancelled — and even asked if I was the one who cancelled it, which I clearly had not. After some back and forth, it turned out that the salon had cancelled my appointment without informing me. I was told they had called me, but they couldn’t say when, and I had received no missed calls, voicemails, texts, or emails. There was no explanation as to why the cancellation happened, and there was a real lack of empathy from the staff. Only after I left the salon did I receive a generic message apologising for the “inconvenience.” It’s disappointing that this message wasn’t sent when the cancellation was made — it could have saved me a lot of time and stress on an important day.

    I was really disappointed today iv been going to pixie for a few years for my hair and waxing. Today I had my waxing it wasn’t the same experience that I normally get. I arrived slightly early sat down no acknowledgment from the girl that was going to do my waxing. I then went In the room had my waxing completed then she said there you go no offer of a mirror to see if I was happy it was almost to much trouble. Such a shame as normal a great experience.

    The first picture was what I asked for and specified this is the length I wanted on top. As you can see it's far too short, the fringe is completely uneven, no layers and I had more than enough hair to work with prior to this butchery, so much so that I was told there wouldn't be much to take off. I don't know how you can be shown a picture and still get it this dreadfully wrong. I was even asked if I wanted the fringe the same length, to which I said yes. Obviously I had the length that I had shown in the first picture in mind not the inch or so the scissor happy "hairdresser" had taken off. Honestly this place should be avoided like the plague if you value your hair

    Came into the salon after seeing wonderful reviews. Showed them a picture of how i would like my hair. Came out with the completely wrong colour. It was blocky and frizzy. I am trying to use hair masks to smoothen my hair out with no luck.
