I have trained under Sensei's Rich and Dan for over 8 years now. This club is like a family and I have developed massively both in terms of martial arts and personal development. If you're thinking of training with us you won't regret it.
Have trained at this club with Sensei Rich for around 16 Years, it's a great club, everyone is really friendly and helpful and the classes are great. Newcomers are welcomed straight away, it's great for general fitness as well as learning I would highly recommend anyone giving it a go
I spent well over 10 years of training in Japanese Jujitsu under the lead instructor Richard. I couldn’t not recommend enough. It changed my life for the better and the Active Arts facility and environment is exceptional. Everyone is positive and respectful, pushing themselves and eachother to be better. If you can a martial arts gym with great instructors and no ego, this is your place!
My son and I started here last year to allow us both to get fitter but also to allow my son and to put all his built up energy to good use, and I can honestly say I don’t regret it, Sensei Richard along with all the team have taught us both so much, very very knowledgable and patient even with an old bugger like me. Fantastic place.
Great club and very welcoming. Started a couple of years ago and enjoyed every part of it. Great teaching and great facilities to train. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking of getting into martial arts.
