My go to place for getting the boys hair cut. Amber is fantastic with the boys and very accommodating of their needs. Salon is very clean and staff are all very friendly and welcoming
The worst haircut ever! I'm shocked this place has so many good reviews, this was not my experience. Booking online and paying the deposit was easy. The salon was dirty, cluttered, and smelled strongly like wet dog. I was welcomed and sat down for my haircut, which took around five minutes in total. During this time, a man in the salon stared at me the entire time, which made me uncomfortable. I was told my hair would be dampened before cutting — it wasn’t. I asked for a wolf cut on long hair and the result is the worst haircut I’ve ever had. It’s uneven, shapeless, and badly done. My fringe has been ruined and the lengths are all different. It looks like a rushed, basic chop with no care or skill. The front of my hair looks ridiculous and now have to pay to have it redone which is impossible being near Xmas. It felt like the stylist couldn’t get me out fast enough. I won’t be returning.
Very pleased with my hair cut. I have thick curly hair, so always a bit nervous about getting a cut but it's the best cut I have had for a long time. Definitely be going back.
My favourite salon. I love having my hair done at ARKS… it’s a pamper which doesn’t cost the earth (very reasonable) and they even have loyalty bonuses for regulars. Am feeling it for waves and curls at the moment. A friendly bunch with a homely feel.
I had my first visit here this afternoon and what a wonderful experience. A lovely greeting from a four legged friend as I walked in. I was recommended to go here by a work colleague and I can honestly say I will definitely be back. Dee gave my hair a thorough conditioning and took the time in cutting my hair to how I wanted it. Lovely ladies, thank you, I will see you again in May, and I will be recommending you in future.
Always a wonderful, friendly service and I am always happy with my haircut. Amber also cuts my children's hair, they are both autistic and struggle with haircuts. Her kindness and patience with them makes the experience so much easier. She has gone out her way to accommodate their needs and it's so appreciated.
Lovely salon with refreshments etc. Amazingly talented colourist, Amber, who is a faultless professional and doesn't charge for consultations. Staff are courteous and attentive. Some days you can't get a walk in so it's best to book. I have roots and foils done and it's always a lovely day.
I decided to have a cut here after getting a Groupon voucher, it was awful. The hairdresser messed up everything, she cut in a side fringe that I spent a year growing out as you can see in the pictures the length is all over the place. She feathered some bits so thin and some bits chunky, it looks like split ends. And the feathered bits at the front omg. I had to drive straight to a hairdresser I'd seen before and get him to fix it. He had to take off 1.5 inches in some places because of how uneven it was. Don't waste your money, spend a bit more and save your hair.
