Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it’s like catching up with friends rather than acquaintances and I’m very lucky to have the best hairdresser, Alex. His ability to transform my hair every time whilst listening to my endless chatter is amazing! Time flies and I always leave one very happy customer. Special mention the to the lovely Gabby, such a lovely young lady who gives the best hair wash and head massage.
Wanted to give a shout out to the amazing Megan, she has been doing my hair for a couple of years now and every single colour and cut has been perfect, she just knows what I want and I trust her to tell me what suits me and what wouldn't. I always walk out of the salon feeling utterly spoilt, would definitely recommend.
I was nervous to go to a new salon but Millie instantly put me at ease with a warm welcome. She offered me a drink then sat down with me to discuss my hair and for the first time ever I felt like she listened. But not only did she listen she understood and was so knowledgable and kind. She was chatty during my appointment and offered great advice. I can’t wait to go back for my complimentary appointment. Everyone I encountered was polite and happy. The salon was clean and welcoming and had a really good atmosphere. I felt relaxed right from the start and didn’t feel awkward or out of place at all. The end result was a very happy customer with beautiful hair again.
I visited the salon for the first time and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! I had a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry. I was a bit nervous having my hair done as I had only ever had my hair done by my mum, who used to be a hair dresser, so the whole salon expirence was new to me. Millie was so lovely, professional, and most importantly so talented! She really knew her stuff, the second she started explaining the process I felt so confident in her abilities and could relax and enjoy the day! Millie produced exactly what i had asked for and it was even better than I could imagine! My hair felt such lovely condition after the colour and cut, you can tell the high level quality products and techniques have been used! I have had Megan do my hair twice and have had great results from her. I have been to so many hairdressers and they haven’t achieved what I asked for. Millie is lovely and polite, washing hair and drying. Great service all together!
I’ve been coming to Strands for more years than I care to remember and have always had a great haircut and a great experience. Helen is an absolute star, who pays real attention to colouring and cutting my hair. The team are always friendly and welcoming and I love the massage chairs, lovely-smelling shampoos and conditioners, range of magazines and the wide selection of hot and cold drinks. The hairdressing team has changed many times over the years, but the standards remain very high and I have no hesitation in recommending the team to family and friends.
