Having had highlights for decades my hair was starting to break. I tried treatments but it was in such a bad State. The only option I had was to have it cut. My hair was below my shoulders and I'd never had short hair so was very apprehensive at going from long to short. From the moment I walked into shape I felt I was in good hands. Julie greeted me and totally put me at ease. We discussed what we wanted to achieve and I am so glad I put my faith in her. What a stylist!! Absolutely love my hair, very on trend. Had my hair cut by Jimmy a couple of times. Whilst they are not the cheapest salon in the area, I think it is worth paying a little extra because the quality of work they do and the products they use. I do not want someone using cheap products on me - I want experienced staff using the best of the best, and I know you need to pay a little extra for that. The staff have always been lovely to me and I have found them nothing but professional and attentive.
Stylish and superb hair salon experience for both the patrons having their haircut or their partner waiting. The staff are very professional with a warm welcome, beverages and magazines as you wait, Jimmy, the hair is amazing! He's very considerate with a beautiful technique, my partner and I have both enjoyed the conversations while he is styling every visit. Fantastic and wonderful, thank you!
Today I had my hair cut by a man named Jimmy. I expected that my experience at Shape would be to a high standard, however it was quite the opposite! I am extremely disappointed with the quality of my hair cut after spending £22 for this for a cut that took less than 5 minutes and was highly unsatisfactory. I usually attend 'head rush' a smaller hairdressing business for £7.50 and they produce a wonderful, high quality hair cut unlike shape do. I would like a refund on haircut and I think they should reconsider the quality standards that they say they have.
