   I was looking for a hairdressers that were open on a Sunday and found Hair OTT on Google. Phoned the day before and they said Patrick could fit me in the next morning. I had never been before and didn't even know where it was in Whiteley, and wad surprised it was tucked in behind the back of the other shops. On arrival was made to feel very welcome by Louise, who took my coat, showed me to a seat and asked if I wanted a drink. They made me a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, the full works. Patrick then introduced himself, asked about what I was looking for with my short hair. He was extremely good and suggested what to do with my hair and giving me tips to do it myself. He washed my hair then gave me a complimentary head, neck and shoulder massage before stying my hair. When he had finished my hair looked great and I wished we had done a before and after photo. I was going out that evening and friends did notice my hair cut and gave compliments. Thank you so much Patrick for saving the day and I've already booked my next appointment with you on the New Year. Thoroughly recommend this salon.

   I've been coming to HairOTT since it first opened in Whiteley. Whilst not a fan of hairdressers, Kelly has been exceptionally good at listening to my thoughts and ideas and professionally helping guide me through my face shape, natural appearing tinsel and what suits me the best, adapting to the wishes I have on each visit. The back and shoulder massage is always a much look forward bonus that in my mind means there is no other salon close to HairOTT ability to look after each and every client. Thank you Kelly and the team. It's not the cheapest salon around but you get 5 star satisfaction and am very well looked after.

   I went in with my almost two year old to see if they offered toddler cuts. The reception we received was less than welcoming. A fairly young girl with blonde hair & a nose piercing very reluctantly sought advice from who I presume was her manager, then explained to us that “toddler cuts take away appointments for other people.” Huh? We are paying customers. We are not expecting a free service & would have been willing to pay whatever price they needed. We were told they don’t offer same day appointments - fine, but no alternative was offered? We weren’t told we could book one for a later date, or phone in to arrange - we were promptly dismissed and clearly not worthy of their business. Mind you, this was midday and the salon was empty. I’m not saying they could’ve cut my daughter’s hair at that moment but clearly they could’ve spent a bit more time with us especially given we would be new customers and I was considering enquiring about my own hair - safe to say, I didn’t. I must say, we later went to Strands, around the corner in old Whiteley, and the service and reception received was far superior. Warm, friendly and helpful. My toddler was welcomed & I too will now use them for my own hair when the time comes. All I can say for “Hair OTT” in my very limited experience with them is if you are looking to go to a hostile salon with less than invested staff, you’ve found your place!

   First time seeing Lucy and she was absolutely amazing! She not only listened to what I recommended but also had ideas of her own and with her amazing work she gave me the haircut and style I wanted without even seeing my inspo picture! Have rebooked with her already. Thank you so much Lucy!

   This salon never fails to impress! On entry, the friendly reception staff welcome you in to a spacious and clean salon where you are made to feel welcome and valued. Patrick is always quick to ‘touch base’ even if he is still busy with another client. As a stylist and person, he is, quite simply, the best in every way! He is always cheerful and friendly and interested in finding out about how you’ve been since your last visit. He is an accomplished stylist and an expert in cutting my short hairstyle. I have never been disappointed with the final result. He listens to what his clients tell him about their hair and how they want it and incorporates that into the work. During a visit, I feel I have been treated to a thoroughly relaxing pampering session, together with uplifting conversation with a friend! Thankyou Pat, long may it continue. Also, thank you to Molly for being a charming person whilst washing my hair!

   I love every haircut with Patrick! He always cuts it so perfectly and my highlights look natural, blended and vibrant. I never want to go anywhere else! Definitely worth the money and I love his product recommendations too. The wider team are really welcoming and always offer drinks throughout my visit - it’s a lovely salon. I will always recommend!

   I had the absolute best hair dressing experience of my life with Laura. We had an in depth chat about my hair type, what I wanted, and how I did my hair personally. She constantly checked to see how comfortable I was and explained everything she did with my cutting and styling process so I would be able to easily replicate it myself in the future. Also, my hair is the best it’s ever felt and looked. It’s soft, lightweight (where it’s usually super heavy) and feels so healthy. I’m never getting my hair done anywhere else and my friend loved my experience so much she’s booked in herself. I couldn’t recommend it more!!

   It was a lovely experience and service offered by Mel at Hair OTT Whiteley. She really did spend her time understanding what hairstyle I wanted, and was always explaining what she was doing the whole time. Didn’t feel like she was rushing through it just to make it in time fortunately (as that’s how I felt with many other hair salons). Even get some head and neck massage which I love. I am more than happy to be a regular customer here at OTT
