   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review I want to give a massive thank you to James Garage in Belfast. I had travelled all the way from London to collect a car I bought through Copart, but unfortunately, it turned out to have a serious engine issue. It was my first time in Belfast, and I suddenly found myself stuck and under a lot of stress. James and his team truly went above and beyond to help me. They took all the stress off my shoulders — they arranged the recovery of the car and supported me through the whole situation. What really touched me was how friendly, kind, and helpful they were — they even went the extra mile to drop me off at the airport. In what could have been a nightmare experience, they showed me the best side of Belfast. I genuinely can’t thank them enough!

   James has literally just saved us from a major breakdown! Been over here on holiday during half term, discovered I had a sized brake cylinder, rang him on the way to Downpatrick…. Fixed and parts swopped out within 45 minutes, absolutely first class service, could not have been more helpful. I would recommend him, when you need the luck of the Irish ☘️!!

   I reached out to James hoping for some help with my partners car, we travelled across the water to get the car and came home to discover quite a few big hidden problems. Not a single mechanic or engineer in Belfast was willing to take the car on as it was “too big of a job”, but James went above and beyond for us and fixed up multiple bits of the car including snapped bolts in the engine, new timing belt, water pump, crankshaft oil seal, new tyres and full service. He done an amazing job and we were so pleased as we were at the point of thinking the car was going to have to be scrapped. Amazing mechanic and very reasonably priced, would 100 percent recommend him and would definetly use him again myself!

   Best decision I made in my life!! Car has been sitting on my driveway for two years, battery dead and wheels are flat lots of work needs done to it, I wanted to bring it back to life so I googled the closest mechanic near Downpatrick, came across James mullan autos and read his reviews and they were all delightful, I rang him he picked up and said he will be at my address in 15min and lift the car. The next morning he texted me and said the car is fully restored and fully passed MOT!! James put four new tyres, a new battery, new springs, cleaned all the rust out of my brakes changed the oil, aligned my wheels, fixed my broken bonnet, booked MOt passed it and he did all that in less than 12 hours absolutely incredible service and when he brought the car back to my driveway he even cleaned my car spotless I mean spotless like even the mould build up inside the headlights I was so delighted and I am so thankful for him I could cry as I loved my car he really is great business owner and the best mechanic Iv come across in many years. And to top that the price for all that was incredibly reasonable he does not over charge he is fair and does his job no messing about !!! Definitely be taking my cars to him from now on. Kenny

   My car wouldn’t start, James arrived within 15 minutes, diagnosed fault ( flat battery), jump started car and I followed him to his garage. Left car and was run home. I was picked up 3 hours later and got car with replacement battery in place plus car also washed.. First class service and I would highly recommended his services. Thank you to James and all his team.

   Excellent garage have used for many years, the owner James is extremely knowledgeable, honest, helpful and straight to the point, not only does he care about car repairs but about people also, I have got caught a couple of times in emergency’s and no matter what time it may be there has never been an unanswered phone. I highly recommend James Mullan auto engineer and his team to anyone that wants a friendly professional service and a good quality repair completed!

   My car failed MOT on a Monday afternoon and I really needed it sorted for travelling on the Wednesday and I thought I was beaten....until I called James Mullan. James was able to take my car first thing Tuesday morning, source and fit rear springs, book a re-sit and have it MOT'ed and ready for me to collect the same evening. Awesome service and would recommend to anyone!
