Popped in here today 15/11/25 What a lovely vibe! People meeting/ greeting/ chilling, great food, Spotlessly clean! Hard working friendly staff! The breakfasts being brought out looked gorgeous, plentiful, and reasonably priced! We had a selection of drinks and toasted teacakes, scrumptious! I learnt from the Manager John that its a privately run cafe, and not council, home baked goods by a lady called Margo, they looked divine and a variety. The walls are decorated with black and photographs of this fantastic park in early yrs and HULL CITY FC signed kit. Long may this delightfull place reign...Much respect to all...What a team!

we love this cafe, after a lovely walk round the park which we do daily, it's lovely to have a sit down, cappuccino (no chocolate ) and a sausage sandwich of which, my better half really enjoys, the atmosphere and staff are lovely people and go all out to make you feel welcome and because we use the cafe often it's great that they remember what we tend to order, hows that for personal service, thank you all for a great service much appreciated xx

If I had read some of the other reviews I probably wouldn’t have gone in, but I found it to be a nice warm and welcoming venue which had a steady stream of customers when I went in for coffee, not long after 11am. I returned to use the loos about an hour and a half later and most of the tables were in use and there was a queue at the counter. There was a good selection of hot drinks and a range of food on the menu. There was even a dog menu with sausages etc which I thought was a great idea as the park is very popular with dog walkers. Plenty of seating and accessible for wheelchair users, pram etc; dogs welcome. Toilets are on the ground floor as part of the shared space with the library.

Very much a curates egg. Hugh potential impressive location, nice looking building and beautiful fountains and ponds There was a very long queue but it was lunch time. The food very nice service but rushed but they were very busy. The externals were scruffy with litter, debris and worse in the ponds. There was something floating in a pond that could have been a dead rodent. There was lots of litter around that detracted from the very nice location. There are toilets on site which were clean and well maintained. There seems to be a library it was not open when we visited. Staff helpful despite how busy they were

Feel inclined to write a review as I have genuinely never experienced such abysmal customer service in a cafe, in my life. Visited with a friend, we both had young children with us, it was a very cold day. From the beginning the lady was unfriendly and quite rude. My friend ordered first, asked if she could order a small warm milk or tea for her little boy and met with complete hostility and "no we don't provide anything like that here" (kids drinks seemed limited), so she asked for another cup which was begrudgingly provided. Then I ordered, my little girl spent a while choosing a cake and I ordered a milky hot chocolate , asking for a small cup for daughter and splash of milk, with that, a very rude young man stomped out from the kitchen exclaiming I would have to pay for a splash of milk and cup "we do not condone sharing drinks here"!!! My daughter Is 2 and I was sharing because they don't provide drinks for children! I asked how much a splash of milk was (I was happy to pay reasonable amount) and he said £2.40 so I said I was very disappointed with the service in general and wasn't prepared to pay that for a splash of milk to which he whipped my tray off me, and asked us to leave. Terrible, so rude do not bother wasting your time here!

A fantastic atmosphere. Lovely Staff always polite and positive. There do amazing oat milk lattes and the vegan blueberry muffins are delicious. Tables are always cleaned when customers have finished. A lot of positive comments about Pavilion cafeteria, and some negative. 5 Stars ⭐️ for the hard work the staff put into making Pavilion Cafeteria welcoming. One of my favourite places.

Lovely cafe, highly recommend. I enjoy a trip here every Saturday morning, after parkrun with friends. Great service, and they cater for my gluten intolerance. Love the cake! ☺️

Please do not not mistake this cafe it once was! We did. We walked through the park with our two dogs. Remembering how it was, we were looking forward to a cup of tea and a sandwich. Despite stating it is dog friendly it is not! they will not put dog bowls out. Even the local council workers are reluctant to use it. The staff are rude. They served me a cup of tea, and still left the teabag ! horrible experience, and not the place it was just a few years ago.
