   Helpful and efficient staff will process your sale without too much of a queue. They helped me lift a heavy item and always seem to know where everything is! I have noticed prices are up significantly but that is true across the board with all diy outlets. It pays to shop around but if it's only a small difference, I would have no hesitation using Wickes for overall service.

   Very poor experience here. Certainly wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return. Had big issues with a bathroom installation and trying to get it rectified took months of backwards and forwards trying to get answers and help. Not particularly nice in store and would be better to travel slightly further and go to B&Q which is a short drive away but has much better stock and customer service.

   Jess Owens was so helpful in creating our designs and getting the order through super fast for us. We built a whole new ensuite from scratch in our master bedroom and Jess designed this exactly how we wanted. I would definitely recommend Jess and Wickes if you are looking for a new bathroom or kitchen! We love our new ensuite thank you :)

   Ordered a kitchen which arrived 3 weeks late, and I'm now going through the ombudsman to seek compensation, as Wickes were not forthcoming and left my in a very difficult situation with no kitchen. Furthermore, I'm now having to dispute an online order through my credit card company for another purchase which arrived damaged - the online orders department pass me to their kitchens department, and kitchens department refuse to speak with me. It's a shame, because their products are good, but their customer service is absolutely shocking. I don't think it's the fault of the staff, I think they just have really poor systems in place and senior management need to address this.

   I normally like Wicks, but today was really annoying. Wanted some compression bolts. There all in sealed bags so you can't see the actual items, a lot of them had been opened to view the bolts, and had been re-sealed by staff using staples. . I gave up and went to another store, like to see what I'm buying.

   If your the type to check the website see it as "in stock" and go to these stores don't hold your breathe in the hopes of finding it there. Toolstation if the site says it's in stock 99% of time it's there. Ranking DIY sheds Wickes is getting close to the car boot sale end inhabited by homebase. I understand that theft plays part but when there's no shelf edge label to be found there's no excuses.

   Had two jumbo bags of sharp sand delivered today,sand was top quality.the driver wrang to say he was 15 minutes away, turned up on time and put it where I asked, very polite guy a credit to your company.would use again.

   This is quite a large Wickes store and has a good range of materials in stock. They have everything from fitted kitchens to bathrooms to building materials. They accept credit cards and contactless pay (what shops don't these days...) and the tills are quite wide.
