Steven a lovely guy, and great dentist. Gives you a full oral hygiene lesson, which was great. Staff and nurses friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic Dentist booked an emergency appointment for my partner and he was seen within 2 days, Reception/Manager Rude and Abrupt. I booked an appointment which I failed to attend as I thought my appointment time was 15:50 not 14:50. I was called at 15:22 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time which I got wrong and was told I had missed my appointment they were going to speak to the dentist and I may face a charge. I explained I had got the time wrong I never go to explain that at that time I was in strangford so had I received the call then I was literally across the road. Not that I expect anyone to chase patients. What I do not agree with is the manner in which I was spoke to by Francine. I am new to the village I am new to the dentist and just because I am not a private patient or I am unknown I don’t deserve to be spoken to so abruptly. I did get defensive, I did end up raising my voice which should not have happened and that I take responsibility for but I did call back and ask to speak to someone more senior to explain my reason for mistakening an hours difference in the time because I didn’t explain this in the first phone call I was accused of changing my reason for missing my appointment. I was told Francine is in charge and there’s no one else to talk to. I filled out my covid questionnaire last night which goes to reception in that I explained I have FND, PTSD and aniexty\depression. The FND that I get medication for causes severe memory issues short and long term. I often mix up times and appointments. I understand I missed my appointment and that was my fault but compassion doesn’t take much. My tooth feels like it’s about to explode so I’m having to go to another dentist because apparently the nearest emergency appointment is the 5th December. I will pay whatever fee is due and will not be returning to strangford dentist as I don’t feel they are compassionate or understanding of my disability. My partner and daughter will remain here until we find an alternative. A not so warm welcome to the neighbourhood.

Was afraid of the dentist until klaus really ended my anxiety with going. His assistant is really reassuring and makes any procedure less stressful.. An all round great dentistery with no niggle or pain too small to fix. This practice is brilliant and I'd highly recommend anyone looking to face their fears with this guy because it's not nothing like you've had before. Top top practice.
