    Well what can I say? - when starting with those words, you know for sure nothing good is going to follow. Only one till open at B&M Speedfield Park, Newgate Lane, Hampshire. Joined a very long queue at 10.45 a.m. with six people in front of me. By this time I was third in the queue and after hearing all the comments e.g. "is this really the end of the queue", "this is ridiculous", "only one till open!", "OMG", "Oh dear" - I decided it was my duty on behalf of B&M's queue of fed up people that I should review this. At 11.02 a.m. I paid for my three items of shopping. So that's 17 MINUTES to pay for three items. Behind me were at least another six people at that point. The last time I went into this store was on 25th September 2025 - exactly the same thing happened - massive queue only, one till open then. The young man on the till kept his head down - to be honest he looked petrified, perhaps expecting angry words from angry customers. It's not the guy on the till's fault - it's management's fault and by management not necessary the shop's management but overall controlling management. Are you listening Head Office? I've trained people in sales and marketing and quite frankly there are no bad staff only bad trainers, or even worse, no training at all. People on tills should smile at their customers, say "hello", "good morning" or similar. They should not look like they want the earth to swallow them up. Customers feel great when greeted by happy staff and want to tell everyone how nice their experience was - not this time though. I trained staff on the basis that one unhappy customer will tell 20 people of their bad experiences in shops, and those 20 will go on to tell another 20 - it's cumulative. That my friends is how companies go bust - and they do every day. So B&M what are you going to do about it? What? Sorry I didn't hear that! - oh right, Nothing! And why are there no replies to Google Reviews on here? Ah, that'll be because it appears they only have one member of staff and he's on the one open till!

    Loved this shop however one staff member was very rude towards me and my sister, assuming our age and didn’t politely ask for id.

    I went to this store around 5:30 pm today, August 11th. Many people are queuing up to pay, but there is only one cashier in the store. After waiting for a moment, another cashier finally arrived. I was about to go to the new line when the lady standing behind me immediately walked over. She turned out to be an employee who had finished work at this store. I would like to ask if a first come, first served method is adopted when a new payment line appears.

    So much left cages and inappropriate piles of stock was a hazard walking around. One person on the till and massive queue. I was overcharged on several items to what selves said and too much to return. Will not visit again as a mess of a store which never experienced in and B&M before

    Massive carpark, easy to walk around in shop with a pushchair/wheelchair loads of range in this shop,I come here to get cleaning products. They have a gardening area, decorating, even sells packed food. Areas to improve, the till aisles are small, very claustrophobic.

    Other than a male shop worker berating and bullying another member of staff it is a great shop. Loads of bargains. 99% of the staff are very helpful. Let’s hope the manager deals with this (known issue amongst staff)

    How am I supposed to choose what to buy based on price when 20% of the items on your shelves have no prices either on the shelves or the items themselves?! Looked around today, gave up and left. Not going to keep on asking how much things cost.

    Staff need to react to queuing at the tiles. 1st and formost money in tills and customers served as quickly as possible. Not staff chin waging and restocking shelves. If there's queues to the point of people giving up and walking out the door in frustration then they have problems. Exactly what me and many other did today. Can understand if there's no staff but I saw 4 restocking and chatting and 2 on the tills. Really not good enough.
