Such a shame. I had my blow dry done today by Andrea and it was unfortunately not good at all. Last time she did it in the other salon it was great, today it was awful. I booked her because of the previous good experience I had with her and honestly I would have 0 problems if she declined me as a client because she knew that she would get me in advance and I am a client that wants things to be done as they should be, if I am getting a curly blow dry I would like to get it with brushes and to leave them in in the end for 5 minutes. I thought it was good on the first look but when I took a better look I knew that the curly blow dry won't last for 1 hour max. 55€ for a blow dry without washing, one would expect to last more. I wish people would be more open and direct. As I told her, if you don't want a client, say it. Don't ruin her hair because you don't have the back to say it directly.

DON’T RAISE ISSUES! Nice staff but overall poor experience. I began going to Blow Leeson Street for my colour (highlights) about two years ago. In Sep 2024 the colourist brought my hair up to a lovely bright white blonde. In Dec I got my colour done again having showed the (different) colourist a picture of what I wanted but the result was significantly darker and warmer hued. It took another round of highlights and toner to bring it up but I was happy with the result. In April I got my colour done and while it was okay on top, the colour was noticeably uneven and patchy underneath (the foils had been applied horizontally instead of stacked vertically)where I couldn’t even tie it up. I asked them to have another look and they did make it better but there was still an obvious dark patch that ultimately had to grow out. After that I booked in another colour consultation and got my hair done in July for an important media event. The colourist was extremely nice but the tone came out an ashy grey blonde hue (but was even) and straight away I flagged it while it was wet and he said it would come up brighter. When he was finished he told me he knew what I meant about it not being the bright white shade of blonde I’d wanted but that’s all they could do today and the toner often comes up brighter after a couple of washes. When it didn’t I called them and they phoned back to say that because I had complained four times in a row they had decided not to move forward with doing my colour as they felt they couldn’t get it right for me. I hadn’t complained four times in a row. I’d raised issues three times including one where the colour was very clearly applied incorrectly and simply asked them to recreate what they’d already done and other things they said weren’t adding up. They were polite on the phone but I do resent the implication that I was being difficult for asking them to dye my hair the shade of blonde I wanted having explained and shown them pictures and paid €270 (including blow dry and tip). I go to a lot of media events and regularly pop in for blow drys but don’t want to go back now.

I was very disappointed with Blow Leeson Street. I booked a 7am appointment for a trim and curly blow dry for my college graduation. I specified the occasion when booking. Unfortunately, the stylist seemed quite inexperienced and didn’t appear to know what he was doing. Additionally, he didn’t seem to listen to what I wanted and was distracted throughout. His colleagues seemed to be telling him what he should do and halfway through attempting a blow dry he swapped to GHD curls. He was quite slow and took 1.5 hours, with results that didn’t at all reflect that length of time, or the cost! I normally love a curly blow dry before a big event but I left this appointment feeling stressed, rushing to my makeup appt and really unhappy with my hair. It was frizzy and flat and not at all how it would usually appear after a blow dry! This was the most disappointed I have ever been at a salon. I regretted choosing Blow.

Went with a friend when visiting in town. We walked in and they were able to do our nails on the spot. They did a great job and were very friendly. Luana was fantastic! After I asked if she could cut hair and she said yes so I ended up doing my hair as well. A bit rushed but still lovely looking. You CANNOT beat the price. $79 for gel removal, gorgeous shellac manicure AND a wash and cut! Fantastic!

I read the previous review and I didn't want to go to this salon but I had to have a blow dry done at short notice. It was the only place where I got an appointment but I'm happy that I went there, particularly I was happy with Mika who took care of me. I came out in good mood and great hair day. I would book there again but asking for Mika.

If based on my most recent visit it would be a lower score to be honest but I did have a really good experience here previously. It was my Christmas party last night and I went to get a curly blow dry. Welcoming staff were friendly. The person who washed me hair was friendly then another staff member comes to “help” I found her quite rude- she told me my hair is too straight for a curly blow dry???! Strange as I literally got a beautiful curly blow dry from there and many other salons before- but I went ahead with GHD curls as I always take advice of experts. She was v rough with the brush her corworker was gentle- it was really obvious the difference with two of them working on me at same time. This generally really changed my mood from looking forward to a night out to being quite annoyed and I wasn’t happy with the curls either- I much prefer curly blow dry curls on my hair. There was no chat from either of them- fine I prefer a bit of a chat but whatever. In fact they were both distracted talking to some other staff member and checking their phones while I was in the chair. Began to feel a bit like Mean Girls. That’s why no tip- if you know me I always leave a tip. Maybe listen and be friendly to people who are your customers

The service I get at Blow from my usual hairdresser (Melisa) and my favourite nail technician, Klaudya, is absolutely outstanding. If it weren't for them both, I would have given this place 1 start only This is due to the fact that I made an appointment on one day for the day after: The following day I was called into a meeting in work, something quite urgent came up and so, as soon as I learned that I couldn't make it to the salon, I let them know. I gave them 6-8 hours of notice. I know it's not ideal and that's why I told them that they could take a percentage of the services fees off my credit card no problem. However, the (very) nasty suprise came when I was asked to pay both services in full aka 90 euro in total for services that I obviously didn't receive. The other salon I tend to go to, Oslo Beauty, I had to do this to as well one day for the same reason, but, since I am a regular, they had the kindness of not charging me at a all but they made me aware that next time a 10-20% would be taken off my card which made sense to me. I appreciated that gesture so much. However, management at Blow was extremely greedy to charge me the full price of the services I had booked, when it was the first time I cancelled (I have been going quite regularly) and when I did so I gave as much notice as possible. I was expecting 20% maybe taken from me, tops 50% but definitely not the whole charge. Shame on them really, I am trying to stay away from Blow as much as possible these days to go to other salons in town that treat customers much more nicely

Honestly one of the best places I've been to- I called them on a Friday and the squeezed me in last minute (thank you). They did a fabulous up-do that I got complemented on all night! Would highly recommend!

Got a haircut yesterday at Blow Leeson Street salon. I hate going to the hairdressers but needs must. Despite that I had a good experience here and Marcus gave me a nice haircut. Friendly receptionist too and easy online booking, got an appointment the same day. Can't fault it so 5 stars.
