The misses and I popped in to relax after a busy day out and it was just what we needed. James was polite and professional and Leela was kind and friendly. The place itself was warm and cosy. Even the smoking area was immaculate. All together, exactly the type of laid back place to unwind for the evening.
The food here is excellent with a good choice of different meals and desserts. The portion sizes are very large.
A really lovely place, lots of space and the food is really good and well priced. Steak pie (which actually had steak in it!!) with a mountain of fries, peas and lots of beef gravy, and a chicken supreme burger (the photo doesn't do it justice) with homemade chips which was fantastic. To top it off the bar staff working the day we went were great, welcoming, chatty and witty. Well worth a visit.
Popped in today for a meal after a long drive we decided to have food so I had the Hunters chicken and the Mrs had the Sicilian Lasagna with Chips both were delicious and filling, highly recommended the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed I wish we had a place like this around our ends we would definitely visit if we are around here again.
Very quirky pub in the Old Mill. Large car park. Nice decor relaxing place for a drink. Good quality and selection of hand-pulled real ales. Nice quality home cooked food, a very popular Pub.
A warm and cosy pub with a roaring log fire and we could fetch our dog inside which was great. The food portions were generous and delicious whilst being fairly priced. Looking forward to returning!
Called in yesterday when car was in the garage, sat in front of the lovely open fire had a huge portion of scampi and home made chips was fantastic. Lovely warm welcome, cosy festive atmosphere.
Following a nice Sunday 10k run met friends for a drink and a meal. Polite efficient staff, great service. The large plate beef I had was melt in your mouth. Friends had the beef platter ample food, very tasty, nice beer
